Through letterboxes today, the last ever phone book. More like the phone pamphlet nowadays!
(This is the Aberdeen and Shetland edition)
Remember when they were great big thick volumes... so big they had to seperate the white and yellow pages in to different publications. And by the time it came to the next edition they were worn out through heavy usage!

Any of our more senior Facebook "viewers" remember when commercial telly arrived in the north east of Scotland for the first time? It was 62 years ago today (30th September 1961) that Grampian tv began broadcasting from their brand new studios at Queens Cross, Aberdeen.
