I'm in the the process of removing the fried vadas which you see in the basket 😋. Men usually are tasked with removing the fried vadas while the ladies put the vadas for frying. This is cauldron 1 out of 2. I believe at least 20-30 kgs of flour would have been mixed with toddy and yeast for it to ferment after which the process of frying begins. East-Indian pre-wedding. The fried vadas are a sign that there is a wedding happening in the village. The same process was followed for my wedding 😊
