While two hot controversial conflicts, Ukraine/Russia and Israel/Gaza, are setting the world ablaze on our doorstep, the primary actors involved are unwilling to engage in peace negotiations unless their adversary is completely defeated. In the case of Ukraine and Russia, this stance remains unless significant changes occur, such as the disappearance of Putin. Similarly, regarding Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the Palestinian people themselves often seek relief through ceasefire and negotiation, distinguishing their desires from those of the militant group Hamas. Despite these urgent circumstances, diplomats worldwide face a daunting impasse in their efforts to mediate and find a resolution. And yet for both, they have come from all parts of the world, in all sorts of possible formations. For the first conflict, there seems to be no way out in the short term.
