Our much loved previous The House Of House guest DJ Ashley Beedle isn’t very well at all at the moment and his wife Jo has shared the below post for all who may be interested in helping in whatever way they can.

Please take a mo to read, even another share on your walls would be very much appreciated.

Hi there, Jo here, Ashley's wife. Some of you know and some of you don't know that Ashley had a brain bleed and seizure in November. Fast forward to February, he had a 16 hour operation and stroke that has left him without any mobility on his right hand side and limited speech. From November to April (with the exception of Xmas) I was living at the Salvation Army college full time to be with him. Ashley was sent to Orpington Neuro Rehab, then Canterbury Neuro Rehab and is in a nursing home waiting to be rehoused. His speech has improved and his sense of humour and resilience has been remarkable.

It's been an incredibly tough time and both Ashley and myself have discussed the following long and hard before asking for help. But if you're able to look down the back of the sofa for some loose change, we'd be happy to accept it.
Thank in advance to all of you who contribute, thank you to all of you who have been our network of support and thanking the Universe for keeping Mr B looked after by the greatest establishment on Earth - the NHS. Without them, he would be dead.

Todays the day for The House Of House Presents: SMOKIN JO & JON CARTER at The Pig Hastings

Doors open at 8pm so get down early with Ant Coombs kicking us off in the front room for 2 hours setting the tone before handing over to the always fantastic Jon Carter at 10pm until midnight followed by Mike Duffield then Friday Night Spinner until the knockings.

Expect acid / toughish vibes in this front room.

Sarah France sets the tone for the more vocal house orientated back room at 9pm before handing over to DJ Gina D

The incredible Smokin Jo is our headliner at 11pm and then Chill DJs from 1am until end

Just over 3/4 capacity atm so will be nicely busy. Few online tickets available until 7pm from Skiddle then a few on the door from our awesome door lady Susan but £15 OTD so if you fancy coming last minute may be worth grabbing one on skiddle!

Cash / card on bar but card only on any late door tickets purchases please.

Venue has A/C so don’t stress about it being lovely and warm today. We don’t have a cloakroom there but weather encourages dressing light! Plenty of areas around the venue to stash them though.

Last entry is midnight please. Once you have your wristband though you can go outside to smoke / chat after!

Theres free music on the pier today at both the restaurant with chilled vibes by Mark Day and Ade Peachment and more uptempo further back by Killian Rabenstein Leandro Marteleira so check them out then come and join us when they finish at 8pm!
