I don't think most people understand what true love is.
It's not the cheesy "couple goals" on social media.
No, it is more than that.
s*x is NOT love.
going on dates is NOT love.
talking 24/7 is NOT love.
laying up is NOT love.
It's not the fancy dates, the happy hours, or the majestic nights laughing at silly movies.
love is somebody seeing the absolute worst side of you & still loving you the same, it isn’t always perfect; it’s got nothing to do with a perfect body either.
True love is waking up in the middle of the night to help you when you're sick
because I don't want you to be sick alone.
It's being your shoulder to cry on, to vent to while you’re pouring your eyes out.
True love is being your biggest cheerleader and toughest critic.
True love is looking at each other on a spiritual level, a level so deep, that you can feel them when they're gone.
True love is "no matter what, I got you."
its somebody voicing all the good things about you when all you see is the bad, it's somebody making sure you okay, it's somebody praying for you every day & night, it's somebody that makes you laugh & smile when you feel down,it's somebody that can hear you when you're quiet, it's somebody that cuts off any & everything that makes you feel uncomfortable. It is honesty and trust ,mutual respect.
TO LOVE SOMEBODY ISN'TJUST A STRONG FEELING.
IT IS A DECISION, A JUDGEMENT, A PROMISE.
Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on & never letting go.It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define & impossible to live without.
