A few months ago I joined a theatre company. Yes you heard that correctly. Apparently I'm a comedian now ???? 😮
I'm playing music on stage, little bit of drums, guitar and kalimba, and a lot of mouth noises and foley to support the comedian and the story. A pretty new and super exciting experience that I am really, really thrilled to be a part of.

It's not really random tho, as I've known and been a fan of the Compagnie Mmm for about 12 years now, since its begining basically. They even performed for my parents wedding ! So it's kinda a poetic familly story to join them now.

The play is fondamentally well writen, the comedian is just extraordinary and I'm still in awe everytime I see her play this multicharacter performance, so it's an honour to join them, hopefully for a few years.

Sadly for the non french friends and followers out there you probably won't have access to this as we only tour (quite a lot) in France and neighbourgs.
But hey, I just wanted to share some good news that make me happy !

Damn this one just hit 100k views !
I did this one in 2016 as a part of my music student homework. We had to transcribe a choir but I went one step ahead a made a full cover with my clones. This Bulgarian choir is really amazing, loved it at first listen !

- 2 Chords - is not an album nor an EP, just a cool new track divided in two parts, recorded and captured on video LIVE with an 8 piece band consisting of :

The title, "2 chords", is simply because the whole track is based on two chords, Abmaj9 and Gmaj9. It started as a test or an exercice to prove that with good arrangement, you don't need much to start a track. Just 2 chords are enough, then you introduce some transitions, melodies, variations, and try to make all that mess flow well together.

That said, my next album will have a proper album version of this track, but still I am super happy to finally release something recorded live. I had never done that because I heavily relied on my clones and recorded everything myself one instrument at a time, so it's a very refreshing and organic experience to record something in one take with super talented musicians and still get an album quality results.

Pretty cool, months ago we welcomed Thomas Brunet at the Studio du Bassin to orchestrate, record, mix and master the ost of the, at the time very promising, and now already quite successful indie game Chants of Sennaar, that you might have heard of.
A very collaborative effort for the studio team and for which I handled the analog mastering part, and also the making of this interview video (with english subtitles).
A conforting surprise for us to get what we hoped for this game, which is a crushing first week of sales and the absolute praise of the press (even some mainstream media) in France.
I'm proud to have taken a (very very little) part of this music, I'd just like a free key to play it on console now lol c'mon Focus Entertainment

Finally recording some new material and yes, yes and yes again, no clones in sight this time ! 8 talented and very real musicians taking part in this very special project that is still a secret for who knows how much longer...

I have always relied on my skills, patience and dedication for my albums and releases and let me tell you right now that I always had much, much more patience and dedication than actual skills lol
That problem is fixed at the moment you collaborate with more talented musicians than yourself, people you can rely on and will add another dimension to your music.
