"Above the Oasis"
Another track that didn't make the cut for a current video game project so I'll keep it for myself, and for you who are listening right now :)
Been watching the Mummy lately, prob because Brendan Fraser is all over the news, it probably inspired more than intended, so here is a short action/adventure thingy that my 12 year old self would have found cool :D

Big treat today, we're playing a track that I wanted to record since 2015.
This is an UNRELEASED track by no other than Tigran Hamasyan, that I arranged a bit for this line up.
Leave a like, a comment and/or share to your friends please that would help me a lot :D
As far as I know, the original version from Tigran has never been released anywhere and is only available in the Adrien Rivollier's documentary called "Tigran"
You can find the full making-of this recording, shooting and more infos about this incredible track here on the Studio du Bassin channel : LINK IN THE COMMENTS

Special thanks to my girlfriend Manon and mother who cooked for us during the few days of recording, to Stephane Peyrot for lending me the studio and its gear, even tho he never quit harping on about "the studio is yours", to Fred for recording us in the best quality possible with the heavy constraints due to the video setup, to all the musicians for being so kind and so good, and to Tigran for making killer music even tho he never released this one.
About the lyrics, the original version is obviously in Armenian, but I don't know how to read Armenian so even tho I got help to find the original name of the poem, I wasn't going to be able to sing it in Armenian, that would have been an insult lol. So I decided to translate it in English to see if it fitted better, it did not. It didn't work in French either because I lost most of the rhymes and rhythm. So I ended up writing down brand new lyr
The heaviest section of our track "Red Dragon" 🤬🤘
Who needs 8 strings guitar and distorsion ?
My man Benjamin Vidal killing it on piano
Recorded at Studio du Bassin
A short excerpt of our rendition of "Red Dragon" , Benjamin Vidal and I reviving an Itzamna track from our 2016 album "Chascade", this time as a piano/drums duo, even tho I added bass parts in post to get that Tigran power trio sound :D
Super happy about it, what do you think ?
