From what we’d heard, ’s a very busy man, and we wanted to see what fills his day whilst working in our own backyard. So staff photographer who doubles up as one of Tom’s best friends, was sent out on assignment to document the above. The deliverables? Shoot everything from dawn ‘til dusk and keep notes of everything that happens throughout the day. This is a documentation of how WT poto Tom Morat spends his working day — Full piece now spinning onsite.

Between beers, Bob painted live for gathering crowds and impressed many (including us). We've since kept in touch and with the projects piling up on his plate we thought it was a good time to reach out and find out more about our new favourite illustrator from the Netherlands. Catching Up with — Always smiling. Always laughing. Equally stylish both in and out the water, Lola’s made a name for herself as one of the leading female long boarders out there. Her passion for surfing, good times and living life to its fullest is infectious. So when we heard she was heading to Europe for the summer we managed to catch up with Sayulita’s finest to discuss, family time, the joys of French cuisine, her experience at Fêtes de Bayonne and why if it wasn’t for surfing, she’d probably be a Salsa dancer. Khayelitsha Township — The largest township in Cape Town, and one of the most poverty stricken and marginalised communities in South Africa. Meaning, ‘New Home” in Xhosa. Khayelitsha is home to over two million people with inadequate access to basic sanitation, a high level of violent crime and highly limited employment opportunities...

We’ve decided to donate all net proceeds of our new magazine (Volume XI) where sold directly to Waves of Change, who work with the youth of Khayelitsha via our good friends .

Our cover image this issue is Khayelitsha, is the largest township in Cape Town, and one of the most poverty stricken and marginalised communities in South Africa. Meaning ‘New Home” in Xhosa, Khayelitsha is home to over two million people with inadequate access to basic sanitation, a high level of violent crime and highly limited employment opportunities.

Juju Surf Club, founded by and , brings global awareness and support to existing and emerging African surf programmes. One such charity is Waves for Change - a Cape Town based program conducting surf therapy as a means of empowerment for disadvantaged children.
