Throwback from the Monaco E-Prix 2024 🏎️🔋⚡️

I was assigned by to capture footage of pressure, tense moments before the show, before the fight.

I wasn’t disappointed.

The silence in the paddock, the clean environment, the team effort to make that beautiful piece of engineering faster than their competitors showing a positive vision of the future of car racing 🌳

Lagoped Family with 🪢
We get the chance to follow Ludo, a mountain guide from Grenoble doing a big wall with one of his faithful client. We went to Mont Aiguille and we did the Pilier Sud - TD- 5c>5c II P2
Mont Aiguille, once called « Mont Inaccessible, » has an unusual history. It is considered that its first ascent, on June 26, 1492, marks the birth of mountaineering. Antoine de Ville’s expedition, using ladders and pitons, was the first to set foot on the summit of the « stump, » which was then named « Aiguille-Fort. »

Some have attempted to land there by plane, such as Henri Giraud, an exceptional aviator and chief pilot at the Dauphiné Aero Club, who in 1957 accomplished the feat of landing on the summit meadow. He was, in fact, the only one to achieve this, with or without passengers.

C O N G O 🇨🇬

2nd tour in Congo to capture more of what I need to produce a série of 7 videos.
The second time around, I have more confidence to approach people and let them enter the frame 🖼️
Also, a friend lend me a drone, so let’s get some altitude to see what birds see.
This tiny piece of technology always attract the mass around me, kids especially, they slowly get close to me to look into the screen and as they come closer the one behinds push the others to see, that much that in the end I can’t even see the screen. I secretly love it, it reminds me of me of my childhood when you are amazed by everythings.

4 days out there with the wild bunch 🐗

Filming and taking photographs for another season of far from everything, far from reality in this little hut with five beds, one table and a wooden stove.
No water, no electricity.
We climbed, we rode, we ate, we laughed, we slept. Nothing else.
Until someone pulled beers out of his bag and began the celebration. When you’re out there, it’s all about the little things.
My kind of holiday.

Congo 🇨🇬

My camera has a universal language that attract curiosity and smile at last. I will never get bored of that and I’m lucky to talk that language with all kind of human in many many places.
Close portrait is something that I really like.
First, eye contact. I know in a flash if my subject wants to have this dance. Then the approach, it’s not because the door is open that you have to enter with your shoes ; I’ll let them decide when they ready by engaging a conversation, or, if we don’t speak the same language, I usually flattered them by saying that they are beautiful ( which is true 100% of the time) that usually crack that smile and boom 📸 I take seat in their sofa and we can exchange energy.

Portrait was my first love in photography and I have to say I’m falling in love again every time I’m going to Africa. Because I am able to work like my predecessor like Diane Arbus or Henri Cartier Bresson, back when cameras and images were not what it is today.

The pictures are from random places around Ngo, north of Congo. Some of them are native nation that used to be nomadic but because of frontier they have to settle. I was welcome there as part of my mission and I took the chance to capture some moments. Most of the pictures will be printed and will be given to before I leave. They smile, I smile, we live in a perfect world.

Welcome to Ngo, Congo 🇨🇬 Mix of footage from two tours in Central Africa 🌍 for a video mission. All those rushs would have sleep in my computer forever, it was such a good experience and the content was so good I decided to compel a little video to show you what I’ve seen. Thanks to the kindness of this population, they accepted me and let me capture moments of their life that we have no idea about. I had the chance to see the way they live, most of them will never have the chance to see the way I live. #Ngo #Africa #congo #Solidrusk
