Throwback from the Monaco E-Prix 2024 🏎️🔋⚡️
I was assigned by to capture footage of pressure, tense moments before the show, before the fight.
I wasn’t disappointed.
The silence in the paddock, the clean environment, the team effort to make that beautiful piece of engineering faster than their competitors showing a positive vision of the future of car racing 🌳

We get the chance to follow Ludo, a mountain guide from Grenoble doing a big wall with one of his faithful client. We went to Mont Aiguille and we did the Pilier Sud - TD- 5c>5c II P2
Mont Aiguille, once called « Mont Inaccessible, » has an unusual history. It is considered that its first ascent, on June 26, 1492, marks the birth of mountaineering. Antoine de Ville’s expedition, using ladders and pitons, was the first to set foot on the summit of the « stump, » which was then named « Aiguille-Fort. »
Some have attempted to land there by plane, such as Henri Giraud, an exceptional aviator and chief pilot at the Dauphiné Aero Club, who in 1957 accomplished the feat of landing on the summit meadow. He was, in fact, the only one to achieve this, with or without passengers.

2nd tour in Congo to capture more of what I need to produce a série of 7 videos.
The second time around, I have more confidence to approach people and let them enter the frame 🖼️
Also, a friend lend me a drone, so let’s get some altitude to see what birds see.
This tiny piece of technology always attract the mass around me, kids especially, they slowly get close to me to look into the screen and as they come closer the one behinds push the others to see, that much that in the end I can’t even see the screen. I secretly love it, it reminds me of me of my childhood when you are amazed by everythings.
4 days out there with the wild bunch 🐗
Filming and taking photographs for another season of far from everything, far from reality in this little hut with five beds, one table and a wooden stove.
No water, no electricity.
We climbed, we rode, we ate, we laughed, we slept. Nothing else.
Until someone pulled beers out of his bag and began the celebration. When you’re out there, it’s all about the little things.
My kind of holiday.

Congo 🇨🇬
My camera has a universal language that attract curiosity and smile at last. I will never get bored of that and I’m lucky to talk that language with all kind of human in many many places.
Close portrait is something that I really like.
First, eye contact. I know in a flash if my subject wants to have this dance. Then the approach, it’s not because the door is open that you have to enter with your shoes ; I’ll let them decide when they ready by engaging a conversation, or, if we don’t speak the same language, I usually flattered them by saying that they are beautiful ( which is true 100% of the time) that usually crack that smile and boom 📸 I take seat in their sofa and we can exchange energy.
Portrait was my first love in photography and I have to say I’m falling in love again every time I’m going to Africa. Because I am able to work like my predecessor like Diane Arbus or Henri Cartier Bresson, back when cameras and images were not what it is today.
The pictures are from random places around Ngo, north of Congo. Some of them are native nation that used to be nomadic but because of frontier they have to settle. I was welcome there as part of my mission and I took the chance to capture some moments. Most of the pictures will be printed and will be given to before I leave. They smile, I smile, we live in a perfect world.

I’ve been talking about about this short film for a while now, and lately, the director Vincent Ronsse] show me the finale version. It’s diabolical. The story, the images, the framing, the music and of course, the actor Vincent Ronsse] and .ciais are fantastic.
We will try to get this jewel in lot of film festival in order to get, hopefully, recognition from the industry and eventually working on bigger project.

My last wedding film will be actually my final wedding film 👋🏼
I had the honor to capture some of the most beautiful moments in people’s lives, in some great locations and meeting very interesting individuals. The time has now come to move on to prioritizing other projects.
It was the best school and I always push young filmmakers to start with wedding films because of the intensity and the learning curve in terms of filming and editing. The mistakes that you will make will be some of the most painful ones of your whole career. The reward of seeing a bride crying watching your film will be the most beautiful one.
Good luck to all of my fellow wedding filmmakers out there who are still in the game ✊🏼

En partenariat avec nous sommes allé passer un peu de temps avec la gardienne de ce beau refuge de la Vallée Clarée, pas très loin de Briançon.
Bœuf bourguignon, ski de randonnée, crêpes, 1000 bornes (avec des règles pas très claires) et beaux couloir était au RDV d’une fin d’hiver qui n’en était pas un. Revigorant.

#DAY14 : International Business Days / International University of Monaco Au fil des années, mes projets se sont naturellement orientés vers ce qui m'interesse le plus, à l'occurence, le film corporate et le B2B. Les possibilités sont vastes et la creativité y tient une place importante. Je dispose desormais d'une multitude de clients dans des domaines completement differents. Cette diversité me permet de toujours acceuillir un projet avec un oeil different. J'aime beaucoup travailler avec International University of Monaco car l'équipe de com est fantastique, mais surtout me pousse à faire toujours mieux. Et puis, c'est à côté de la maison, donc c'est du bonus ! Film Promo pour les rencontres Business à L'Université en mars derniers.
#DAY3 avec le clip video du chanteur - compositeur Alex Campo pour son tube "Prelude" - 2017 Il savait qu'il y avait "un gars qui faisait des vidéos sur Menton" alors il m'a appelé et on s'est retrouvé pour boire un café et discuter du projet. Les scènes se situerai à Gorbio au dessus de la Ville de Menton. Une trentaine de figurants, une bonne quinzaine de scènes mais surtout une première pour moi qui n'avait jamais tourné de clip videos. L'avantage était que Alex avait une vision trés claire de ce qu'il voulait, ce qui m'a beaucoup aidé. L'autre chance est que ce jours là, le ciel était voilé, ce qui donne une lumière diffuse naturelle, la petite chance du debutant venait d'en haut. Super tournage, des figurants motivés et bien ordonnés, un alex en feu, et un rendu ma foi professionel. Suite à ce succés (+11K vues sur YouTube) on continu à se retrouver avec Alex pour boire des cafés, et réflechir à d'autre projets ensemble. Un second clip à été produit en 2018 : "Laisse-toi"
Dans le but de commencer (peut-être) une serie de portraits de femmes et d'hommes qui ont façonnés notre Siècle, je commence avec le Père Michel Guimbaud. Il est arrivé en 1957 au Tchad et n'est plus jamais reparti. Voici son histoire. Projet personel réalisé en marge de ma dernière mission reportage au Tchad avec Expertise France.
