Look, closely at this picture, what do you see on my forehead ? _Pimples_ 😁

So I woke up this morning and saw pimples on my face and I was like “this one did not get preggy🤰🏽this month” 🤣🤣

For me, whenever my period comes or is about to come my face becomes a fertile space for few pimples.

once I just look at my face in the mirror and saw that then; ~It's that time of the month🩸~

They're different signals our body sends to us that is why it's good to pay attention to your body.

Who can relate ??? 😁

I am geninuely grateful to God that even the bad and good things all aligned together for my good, I'm thankful as I have peace that surpasses all understanding, I am thankful for my beautiful girls God blessed me with. I'm thankful that I never gave up, that I kept pushing despite all odds I'm thankful cos I know better days are coming . I’m grateful for absolutely everything that have happened in my life, I learnt a lot and God allowed the privilege of some specific experience that will change my life and I’m grateful and thankful for it . I'm much more ready to receive that uncountable blessing in this my new CHAPTER🎂

Does helping others bring positivity into our lives?

When we help someone in any way, we aim to uplift them. When we uplift others, not only do we get inner satisfaction, but we ourselves get inspired and encouraged.

Most people try to halt other people from growing because they feel insecure. Such people forget that when other people grow, they will also be able to share their fruits with them. If we cooperate with one another, we can achieve more considerable success in life because we will have people to support us and their experiences to learn from.

Always be open to helping others. The positive change you bring in their life will brighten up even your own life.

Before you migrate….

Yesterday while bathing my daughter, I was speaking Ondo language to her.

As usual, if took her a while to get what each meaning even though she’s interested in learning new languages, she even spoke some Spanish to me the other day.

I have been doing a lot of communication around the house in Yoruba/Ondo and told my daughter she has to learn because she’s Nigerian and some day she will go back to Nigeria. She point blankly told me she’s from France and just only me is from Nigeria 😒

While I know that she is too young to decide, I immediately became aware that by reason of migrating, I have potentially lost her as a ‘Nigerian’. It will take sheer will for her to abandon a French passport and pick up a Nigerian passport.

Even if I succeed in teaching her Yoruba/Ondo, what if she marries a white Man or a non-Nigerian? Will She see Nigeria as ‘my parents country’ and see herself as French? Even currently at age 6, she has no memory of Nigeria. None at all. She only knows her grandma is in Nigeria because we do video calls all the time.

What about her children? Will they have that connection to Nigeria? Other than my grandparents migrated from Nigeria? I ask this because many of my friends children who were born here do not see themselves as Nigerians. They tell you I am from France, but my parents are from Nigeria.

Will my children or grandchildren be interested in anything that has to do with Nigeria in the future?

I know that in the quest for migration, we forget to ask ourselves some of these questions. And once one person moves, chances are that the family members are likely to move along to build friendship and family.

So if you are a Nigerian hoping to migrate, I hope you know this

Your children will probably not give two cents about all the investment you have in Nigeria. They will probably not give a book about your village house. And if and when they do visit, it may be once in Years and they might stay in a five star hotel, never visiting the stream or participating in festivities.

In the future, your grand and great grand children will be anything but Nigerians, after a lot of miscegenations has happened 😀 Maybe French -Indian-Canadian-British-Nigerian-American- German-Australian 🫠😎

Relocation comes with a cost, and sometimes it can be expensive.

I know some of you may say even though even though, I hope you think about it as you pack your bag today😀.

What happens when the third party is no more ?

If you cannot influence your partner without a 3rd party then you shouldn't be in such a relationship.

I remember one time when I was living in Middle East (Kuwait) a very close friend of mine throw a jab at me. We were having a conversation and she said Middle East na abroad? She said "abeg abeg wetin I wan go do for Middle East, place wey una dey go there go hide" ... In her exact words "instead make I travel go Middle East, I go travel around 5 African countries"

I tried to tell her the importance and I spoke passionately(I always speak passionately about things I know) about the benefits and how it’s hard to get a Visa from Nigeria to Western Countries then….

Okay fast forward to today, 8 years later.. Home girl wants to visit Middle East because she tired Canada twice, Gemany once and was rejected 😁😁😁😁😁

Now to her Middle East better and like a stepping stone to move to bigger countries, now she wants my Middle East contacts and wants me to link her up with how she can get the visa, I helped her with the condition that I share this story so others can learn... She no care if I like make I tell everybody she has gotten the most important thing😜😜😜

SMH... If you see the insult this girl gave me 8 years years ago..... I cried like a baby...

Now I gave her some vital information that will be needed, connected her to the necessary people and she was shocked that I could still be kind towards her.

Moral of the story.... Be careful how you deal with people, be mindful of your choice words, deal with people from a place of love and know that in this life things go around in circles.

I'm happy I could assist someone today who needed my help as much as I was tempted to reign on her parade.... Experience and exposure has taught me how to handle things.

I'm now a mature woman(in my Ondo voice) and a fine girl for that matter. When you are God's does who speak bad about you end up chewing their words😊
