𝙀𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙨 is back in the depths of the Yoyo - Palais de Tokyo, for an eleventh edition to bring the best of alternative music. This new episode bring together on @artefr the best of indie & alternative scene for live performances and itws in front of an audience.
Hosted by @jehnnybeth, the visionary british four-piece band @mountkimbie, present their brand new album 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 released on @warprecords. Accompanied by their faithful guest @edgar_the_breathtaker aka King Krule the band came to electrify echoes stage mixing electronica, post-punk and krautrock.
Subtly fusing Irish and English, the devastating trio @kneecap32 ignite crowds with lyrics that are as provocative as they are innovative. Straddling the border between rap and techno, Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara and DJ Próvaí are putting Belfast back on the musical indie scene. Ireland, its history and heritage, are the favourite subject of these sharp-tongued rappers, who chronicle their daily lives with humour and derision.
Following the release of her new album 𝘔𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘴, @malvina.mrcds was warming up this new show. Pianist, arranger, maestra and pole dancer she defies convention by moving between hyperpop, electro and post-punk. For her time on tv, she invites us into a crazy, uncompromising world where her lyrics crystillise the statements of a young woman questioning the toxicity of relationships, the human psyche, her obsessions and contradictions.
