🥂✨🎵

(🇯🇵⬇️) Hello dear tribes .. I became 60 on 3 August in Bologna, Italy.
My 40th was a party with many friends in Bali, and 50th was also a party with wonderful tribes on the Greek island of Corfu during a DJ tour. But 60th birthday celebration was in elegant & quiet manner with dearest Robin, In a beautiful city of learning and art which I visited for the first time, toasting over a Bolognese pasta with a glass of prosecco.
It was very simple birthday celebration, but was so perfectly fitting to my stage of life.

After dinner we went to the piazza and found that there was a free screening of Hayao Miyazaki's ‘ The Boy and the Heron ‘ on the big screen (A night before was a free Classical orchestra concert with opera singers 🤩!! ) , and the piazza was packed with around 2,000 people. Everyone was quietly watching and the film was incredible. A perfect finishing of a big day.

It has been 9 years since I re-located to Nice from Bali .. and I am now in my 27th year since I left my home country Japan. My two children, born in the UK and Bali, have become adults & independent.
It's been a life with so many ups and downs, but when I look back on it now, it only feels like it went by so fast.
I can only be thankful that I have been kept alive by a mysterious force.

I wonder how many more years I can continue creating. I would like to keep expressing myself in a crossover between music and art as a finishing touch to the journey of life I have been on and the artist activities I have been steadily building up like my own little mille-feuille.

I just want to shout out a big thank you to all who kept following me all those years. Your love and support saved me countless times 😊 Please continue to watch over my journey ya 🎵

8月3日にイタリアのボローニャで60歳の誕生日を迎えました。
40歳はバリ島で沢山の友人達とパーティー、50歳はDJツアー中でギリシャのコーフ島でのパーティーでした。でも還暦祝いは、初めて訪れた美しい学問と芸術の街で、大好きなロビンとエレガントかつ静かに、ボロネーゼパスタとプロセッコで乾杯。
とてもシンプルな誕生日祝いだったけれど、人生のステージ的にもピッタリでした。

ディナー後に広場に行ったら、宮﨑駿監督の『君達はどう生きるか』を大きなスクリーンで鑑賞する無料上映会が行われていて(その前夜は、無料のクラシック・オーケストラとオペラ歌手のコンサート🤩！) 、2千人ほどの人々でピアッツァはギッシリ。皆さん静かに見入っていて、映画は素晴らしく、大事な日の完璧なエンディングでした。

バリ島からニースに再再移住して9年目になり、海外生活は27年目に突入。英国とバリ島で産まれた二人の子供達も立派に独立してくれた。
呆れるほどアップダウンの激しい人生だったのに、今になって振り返るとあっという間だったとしか感じないんですね。
不思議な力に生かされてきた、という想いで感謝しかないです。

これからあと何年、創作を続けていけるかな。今まで自分が辿ってきた人生という旅と、ミルフィーユのようにコツコツと重ねてきたアーティスト活動の仕上げとして、引き続き音楽とアートをクロスオーバーしながら表現していきたいです。

ここでずっとフォローしてきてくれた皆さんにただただ感謝の気持ちを伝えたいです。皆さんの愛とサポートに何度も救われました😊今後も暖かく見守ってくださいね🎵

Hello downtempo lovers ✨

Today we are very happy to announce - Pre-release of SUPERCOZI album [ Melodies – Chillout Selection ] which features 12 melodic tunes she released between 2000 -2018, has now begun on Bandcamp.

Album features 4 wonderful vocalists : Lex Empress, Sophie Barker from Zero7, AndreasOne , Kamau Abayomi , also well known Japanese saxophonist Chika Asamoto and Bulgarian Pianist Martin Denev Music - 9 out of 12 tunes are new edits / Remaster.

Normally her field are psychedelic-hinted downtempo, but this one focuses on more easy-listening side of her musical world with lounge vibes.
We think they are perfect for lazy afternoon in August-September.

She produced them for various compis and albums in multiple locations she lived, inc. Tokyo, Devon (UK), Bali and current base Nice Côte d’Azur, South of France.

Several guest musicians continue to collaborate on her recent releases so this album can be an interesting archive for understanding her musical journey.

Something wonderful coming soon 🔜 … 💝

A few weeks ago, I did a cover photo shoot for my best album 'Melodies - Chillout Selection', which contains a selection of melodic downtempo tunes.

I produced these 13 songs for various compilations and albums between 2000 and 2018 in multiple places I have lived in the past, including Tokyo, Devon (UK), Bali and my current residence in Nice.

Those who have known my music for a long time will be familiar with some of the songs I released on my own label Hypo Espresso Records during my time in Bali, such as the Chillout Compilation ´ Chillpresso- Dali Bali ‘ series.

There are also many remastered and extended / edited new versions 🎵.

It will be released on Bandcamp first in August.. Then Streaming sites inc. Spotify / Apple Music etc in the early September ☺️

数週間前に、私のメロディックなダウンテンポ・チューンをセレクトして収録したベスト・アルバム「Melodies -Chillout Selection」のジャケット写真撮影を行いました。

2000年から2018年にかけて、東京、デヴォン(イギリス)、バリ島、そして現在の居住地であるニースなど過去に住んできた複数の場所で、様々なコンピレーションやアルバム用にプロデュースした13楽曲達です。

私の音楽を昔から知ってる方なら、私がバリ島時代に自分のレーベルからリリースしたチルアウト・コンピレーション「チルプレッソ〜ダリ・バリ」シリーズなどでお馴染みの曲もあるはず。

リマスターやエクステンデッド/エディットされた新バージョンも多いです🎵

まずは8月にBandcampでリリースされる予定です。9月上旬にSpotify / Apple Musicなどで配信予定 です☺️

Full music clip of SUPERCOZI ' Jungle Love ', her first collaboration with another Japanese female producer Tomocomo for her album ' Bass Odyssey ' (2025).
