´ Soleil Bohemia (Dancing Wednesday Dome edit) ´ is a coupling track of new EP ‘ Vent Nera ‘ by SUPERCOZI, just released on Bandcamp.

Originally she produced this edit for her 90min producer set at Dome in Ozora Festival this summer. But this creepy dark Swing grooves is also perfect for Halloween 🎃Title ‘ Dancing Wednesday Dome edit ‘ was born because she was imagining my favourite character Wednesday Addams dances with Frankenstein’s butler, Lurch, during production 🧛🏾‍♂️🕷️🕸️🦉🌚

Original track ‘ Soleil Bohemia ( Apéro édit ) ´ featuring jazzy scat and trumpet by my Niçois friend Mika Pote is featured on her album ‘ Bass Odyssey ‘.

SUPERCOZI is a Japanese Psychedelic Downtempo producer based in Nice Côte d’Azur, South of France. She is also a behalf of 2 unit Congas Atlas ( with Blue Planet Corporation ) and Zen Lemonade (with Gus Till).

Dome had been beloved as a downtempo sanctuary for experimental music lovers. And Cozi's 88 minutes sonic voyage taking you to the various realms - departure from the Japanese space station's plat home, then through the mythical winterly forest and exotic jungle, to dark wilderness and island of pirates - To the final dive to closing musical odyssey.

All 13 tracks are the originals she produced between 2006 to 2025 ( Track 5 ' Chilldome Refugees ' original version is a collaboration with System7 and Gus Till in 2006), including 7 special 'Dome edits' she worked for this set, and 2 new tracks (Track 1 & 10).

She produced the track after 11 days solo trip to Corsica island in last Autumn. This is also only new track she played in her 90 minutes producer DJ set at DOME in Ozora Festival official this year.

EP contain a special Dome edit of ' Soleil Bohemia ' from her recent album ' Bass Odyssey ' which she played in Dome set too. It's a dark Swing version which perfect for Halloween .. Because she was imagining Wednesday Addams dances with Frankenstein's butler, Lurch, during production !!!!

SUPERCOZI new EP ‘ Vent Nera ‘ will be out on 22th Oct.

‘ Vent Nera ‘ meaning ‘ Black Wind ‘ in French and Corsican. It’s a 10min epic & dark 4/4 115 BPM dancy down tempo, which she produced after her 11 days solo trip to French Island Corsica.

Only 50min flight from her base Nice, yet Corsica is known for its own charm with the coastal towns lined with sturdy stone buildings, A tale of medieval pirates, dense forest and mountains dominated by rugged, rocky slopes.

When she delivered 1.5 hour producer set at DOME in Ozora Festival official 2025, this was only new track she played towards the finale.

EP contain 3 tracks and a nice short film like reel of ‘ Vent Nera ‘ is on the way too !

SUPERCOZI new album ‘ Bass Odyssey ‘ guest artist G-ton on ‘ No Spectator ‘

(日本語は下) G-ton is a Japanese MC / Rapper based in Nagoya Japan. He had been widely loved and respected in Japan since his 2004 million sales hit single in Japan ' Kokoro Odoru ', a pop song he released as a member of his old band Nobodyknows.

Despite of band's popularity and successes, G-ton left band in 2007 April for artistic differences.

G-Ton has admired Supercozi’s sonic universe ever since picking up her 2005 release ' Luxury Addict ' CD that she dropped from her own label Hypo Espresso Records.

When she returned to her native Japan in 2024 for a DJ tour after 6 year break, the two artists finally crossed paths. For their debut collaboration, G-Ton penned lyrics inspired by his unforgettable experience at Burning Man 2016 in Nevada, USA.

Having received G-Ton's vocal stems he recorded in Nagoya, Japan, Cozi undertook the unprecedented experiment of fusing Japanese rap and Psydub in her home studio in Nice in the south of France, and successfully sublimated it into a powerful track with a majestic groove.

G-tonは名古屋を拠点とする日本のMC／ラッパー。2004年に旧バンド・ノーバディノウズのメンバーとして発表したポップソング『ココロオドル』が日本でミリオンセールスを記録して以来、国内で広く愛され尊敬されてきた。

だがバンドの人気と成功にもかかわらず、G-tonは芸術的意見の相違から2007年4月にバンドを脱退。

G-Tonは、Supercoziが自身のレーベルハイポ＝エスプレッソ・レコードからリリースした2005年のアルバム『Luxury Addict』CDを手にして以来、彼女の音の世界観に感銘を受けてきたという。

2024年、6年ぶりのDJツアーでSupercoziが母国・日本に戻った際、名古屋で彼女が参加したDJイベントでついに二人のアーティストは初めて出会う。その結果として産まれたこの初のコラボレーションのために、G-Tonはアメリカ・ネバダ州で開催されたバーニングマン2016での忘れられない体験からインスピレーションを得て歌詞を書き上げた。

名古屋で録音されたG-Tonのボーカル素材音源を受け取ったコージーは、南仏ニースの自宅スタジオで日本ラップとサイダブを融合させる前例のない実験に着手。堂々たるグルーヴを帯びた力強いトラックへと昇華させることに成功した。

Sunday was the second time I’ve closed out the Dome Ozora Festival official on Sunday night and it really is a golden slot..... The best crowd, open ears and open minds and the freedom to play almost anything. Thank you, thank you you beautiful people who made it a memorable couple of hours for me . 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️
