At the time, before he founded and directed Sounds So Beauiful, Marcus Gon was studying Sales and Digital Marketing.
Music lover, Marcus was a self-taught drummer and rapper. The only one of his generation to listen to his favorite CDâs with a walkman â old but gold!
Thatâs the motto! Marcus, ridiculous music nerd, was a real profiler when it comes to track down the best sounds. From Twitter to Tumblr, SoundCloud, YouTibe and Spotify, nothing could remain hidden in silence.
As a true music digger, Marcus had identified all the best venues to come and appreciate the smoothest sounds. From Jazz Café Camden, to Blues Kitchen, and Floripa London.
With this initiatory trip, Marcus had officially launched the Sounds So Beautiful. Weâve met and discovered there top-notch artists, such as Anisa, Cherri Voncelle et Jermaine Riley, Marie DahlstrĂžm , Jay Prince or Louise Golbey and Shan Ako.
Back to France
Marcus was wishing to contribute to make his hometomwn, Lyon, a place just like London, when it comes to music.
In no-time, the media became the reference for concerts and open mic nights organized in France, with the Anglo-Saxon culture. Sounds So Beautiful aura began to glow then.
Talent scouting
Back in the time, Marcus used to spend days and nights to discover new artists. Now, more and more labels (Universal Music), PR agencies (Cyber PR, Vevo, Mora May Agency), and independent artists come to the editorial for press releases, native advertizing campaigns and event partnerships.
Marketing and communication expertise
In 2015, the young musician graduated from INSEEC Business School, with a Master in Marketing. Specialized in innovation and entrepreneurship, Marcus has worked for many companies in the Communication as well as in the Sales Departments (Publicis, Louvre Hotels Group, NewFinance, Collinson GroupâŠ).
Since then, he has continued to offer his communication consulting services to large and small businesses, as well as to entrepreneurs.
Resolution: Music Marketing
If Marcus has worked in communication and advertising for a long time, his real ambition is to put his marketing expertise at the service of the music industry.
This is why he decides to make Sounds So Beautiful more than a entertainment online magazine for the Culture.
Since 2017, the media has welcomed coworking spaces, companies in the sectors of innovation and MICE (hotels and professional events), in order to instrumentalize music to be a vehicle for their brand message.
On the other hand, the media has won the trust of festivals and record labels for the promotion of their artistic direction.

Started in Lyon, back in 2013, Sounds So Beautiful has bloomed in London before appealing a public based in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto.
