In the end, what will stay with you isn’t the distance you covered, but how you truly enjoyed each moment ✨
🇫🇷Après 2 ans sur la route, s’il y a un seul conseil qu’on pourrait donner, ce serait celui ci : ralentir 🛶
C’est tentant de vouloir tout voir, cocher toute sa bucket list, faire toujours plus de kilomètres ou de pays… Mais selon nous, la meilleure façon de vivre cette aventure, c’est de prendre le temps. Laisser les lieux, les rencontres et les paysages nous guider 🌸
Ne pas s’épuiser à conduire des heures mais au contraire s’arrêter plus longtemps, profiter des matins tranquilles, et laisser de la place à l’imprévu. Car c’est dans ces moments-là que se trouve la vraie magie de la vanlife, et qu’on a le temps de créer les meilleurs souvenirs.
Parce qu’au final ce qui restera dans votre cœur ne sera pas la distance parcourue mais la façon dont vous avez profité de chaque moment ✨

Back on Nov 5th, 2017 ❤️🔥: I decide to try this new vegan restaurant in Lyon, so I walk in for lunch. Antoine is the one who takes my order and serves me. When it’s time to pay, we chat a bit, talk about travel, joke around. It’s love at first sight for both of us.
On my way home, I leave a (five-star) review on the restaurant’s page. He jumps on the chance to send me a first message, with travel tips for a Berlin trip I’d mentioned.
For the next four months, we text without ever admitting our feeling. I find any excuse to go back to his restaurant, and we even run into each other at animal rights protests. But every time, we barely talk, a bit shy, and deep down, we both know…
One night, after yet another dinner at his place, he messages me saying he wishes we’d had more time to talk. And finally, we decide to meet… just the two of us.
Since then, we’ve been writing our story together ❤️
