Happy new year to you!

2025 will be a pretty busy year for Too Good To Be True with the release of several albums and with the monthly series of EPs for which it is time to unveil the first name.
It is with Object Image, the moniker under which Franck Ruzé operates, that the series that will run throughout 2025 will be launched in a few days.

Already met in different bands such as Palavas or 40 Days Without Water, but also the author of several novels, Franck Ruzé explores, with Object Image, the sweetness of the 1990s. Fascinated by the pop music from this decade and its ability to mix sadness and joy, and equally moved by the music he grew up with (The Field Mice, Blueboy, Happy Mondays, Cocteau Twins, The Smiths), he has integrated these different influences into his music while bringing a modern touch and always keeping a personal approach.

After a first EP released in March 2024 on Brighton label Shore Dive Records, Object Image returns with a collection of five love songs, five songs that address the themes of shyness, meeting, the emergence of romantic feelings, and the strange and simple beauty of love, five songs that will undoubtedly make you fall in love with the music of Object Image.

The EP "Every Time That You Were Shy" will be released on the 17th of January. A first track will be available for your listening pleasure on Tuesday the 7th, the same day we'll start the preorder.

Last year, we left them on the dancefloor with "Casanova", for which they had abandoned their guitars in favour of synths. This week, Meyverlin have made their comeback with "Scars", a track on which the guitars are out again. So what should we expect for the band's new second album, "Therefore"? Have they given the leading role to the guitars? Have they gone fully electronic? The three members, Thierry Haliniak, Philippe Lavergne, and Gilles Ramey, obviously did not want to choose between electronic sounds and guitars. Helped by Rodolphe Vassails (who was, along with Philippe, in Les Freluquets and Bassmati) on the production's duties, Meyverlin recorded ten songs, which show their talent for writing pop songs, whether full of guitars, totally electronic, or mixing all these sounds. You can now preorder the album, which will be released next week (on digital and on limited-edition CD). The album can also be purchased as part of a bundle that includes the Meyverlin 7" single that we released last year (with a version of "Casanova" different from the one on the album and an exclusive track, "Wasted Years").
