Around The Waves Surf movie events & culture We started by booking films in Bordeaux, and the spectators were immediately present and in large numbers at each screening.

Au commencement, l’idée était simplement de profiter entre potes de projections sur grand écran, de films de surf qui n’étaient jamais diffusés en France et de permettre au public d’en faire autant. Nous avons débuté en programmant des films à Bordeaux, les spectateurs ont tout de suite été présents et nombreux à chaque projection. Les années ont passé, et grâce aux réalisateur·rice·s, producte

ur·rice·s, marques, surfeur·euse·s qui nous ont fait confiance, nous organisons aujourd’hui une soixantaine d'avant-premières par an dans plus d'une douzaine de villes françaises de métropole et d’outre-mer. Depuis 2021, l’association Around The Waves en plus des projections, gère le site www.aroundthewaves.com, qui propose des Focus sur des personnalités de la surf culture, de la musique, une sélection des meilleures vidéos du moment...

Nos événements sont là pour célébrer la culture surf, en faisant rêver et réfléchir à l’état de la planète, et ont permis de fédérer depuis 2013 une très belle communauté. A bientôt sur un de nos événements!

At the beginning, the idea was just to enjoy with friends the pleasure to see on a big screen surf movies that were never shown in France and to share the experience with the audience. The years have passed, and thanks to the directors, producers, brands and surfers who have trusted us, we now host about sixty premieres a year in more than a dozen French cities in metropolitan France and overseas. Since 2021, the Around The Waves organization has been managing the website www.aroundthewaves.com, which offers focus on surf culture personalities, music, a selection of the best videos of the moment...

Our events celebrate surf culture, inspiring people to dream and think about the planet, and since 2013 have helped to unite a great community. See you at one of our events!
