To celebrate Vodefoneโs 28th Birthday, our team worked alongside other agencies in a collaborative effort to produce a wide range of materials for this big event.
A musical jingle was produced with a 45-second Television Commercial. Pasifika designed in-store materials and provided an interior decorator who, together with a signage company, dressed up 11 locations throughout Fiji over the launch weekend.
We also produced a radio ad in 3 languages, press ads and billboards. We worked closely with the MATA Dance Group and recorded them during their FlashMob performances in Suva, Nadi, Lautoka and Labasa.

The Westpac Fiji mobile banking app recently saw a revamp with improvements in features and in-app functions that aim to make the overall user experience of banking on the go much more simple and efficient. The Pasifika team were excited to produce a series of press ads, television and radio advertisements, billboards and social media posts for this campaign.

On 14 April Pasifikaโs Exercise Challenge ended. With our continued drive to promote health and wellness among our staff, the two-part challenge saw our team compete for the Most Distance Walked and Most Weight Lost.
After 60-days of crazy walking and being more intentional with our food choices & portion sizes, our team celebrated personal achievements and awarded three winners in each category with cash prizes for their efforts and discipline throughout the challenge.
Congratulations to our winners and everyone who participated in making changes to become better, healthier versions of ourselves! Letโs keep it going team!

To kickstart the new campaign for Unileverโs OMO laundry detergent brand, we produced a simple and fun 30-sec TV commercial - embracing the new tagline โDirt Is Goodโ. Pasifika handled the entire production process from the creative brainstorming, scripting, to shooting, editing, and post-production.
The advert was filmed at multiple locations working with talents of all ages which brought our vision to life showing that life can be enjoyed to the fullest whilst OMO takes care of the tough stains.
The resulting advert is now airing in Fiji promoting the powder detergent, and in the Maldives promoting the liquid variant.

Fiji recently launched its first and only boat bar โThe Wreckโ located on the infamous sands of Wailoaloa Beach in Nadi.
The Pasifika team created the logo and now manages their Facebook and Instagram pages. Part of the team represented the company at the official launch night which was a huge success.

TEAM DIGITAL takes the WIN!
In March this year, we ran a Department Health Incentive Competition primarily to promote general office wellness as well as team building. โWhen coming up with the mechanics of the scheme, I wanted to encourage each of the teams to work better together at the office and help push one another outside the office space towards a healthier and more physical lifestyle,โ said General Manager, Natalia Evans.
There were 6 departments of 2-3 members each and over the 5 months, we saw a huge move towards more physical and healthier well-being which led to an increase in work productivity. There was also increased staff morale, fewer sick days being taken and in general a stronger engagement within the organisation. The competition came to an end on July 31st.
Natalia added โI had everyone sign up to a free app where I could track their physical activity and awarded points for every workout they completed. To help build teamwork, the workouts had to be done not necessarily together but on the same day.โ
With Covid restrictions enforced in April through to the end, this didnโt stop anyone. The teams continued to complete workouts from their homes and through this app, data was being tracked and score points updated weekly.
โFor July being the final month, I decided to add spice to the mix and awarded 3 times the points for any team that each completed a 10km walk or run on the same day. The results blew me away. We had teams doing 10km every day for 6-7 days in the week. With the current situation we all find ourselves in, it is paramount now more than ever that we focus on our mental and physical well-being so as a leader, I try and take it upon myself to help motivate our team and I think I can confidently say, weโre onto a definite great start.โ

USP Enrolment Campaign goes DIGITAL!
Semester 2 is normally a challenging term for universities in terms of new enrollments. And now an even bigger challenge has risen with the current COVID-19 restrictions in place. The usual roadshows and school awareness visits that the university used to do are now simply not possible.
USP Pacific TAFE turned to Pasifika Communications and used our expertise as a complete digital service provider. Using Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, we produced a series of videos, GIFs, image posts and slideshows.
The goal of the 2-month campaign was to increase online admissions. Our team focused all the advertisements on achieving link clicks and reach and have achieved impressive metrics in a very short span of time.
โPasifika was an exceptional team,โ stated Get Safe Online CEO Tony Neate, during the Get Safe Online Pacific campaign review. The first phase of the campaign came to an end in April 2021.
Our passionate team handled multiple projects within extremely tight schedules and responded to several last-minute additional requests without sacrificing any quality.
Integrating an active social media campaign across nine countries with print materials, media releases, radio ads, in-school visits, podcasts and other materials ensured that the Get Safe Online campaign was widely visible throughout the Pacific islands.
Get Safe Online Pacific is undergoing a first phase review after which we are optimistic that the campaign will resume at full speed for the second phase. Keep watching this space for news on that.
Digital FSM Project
The last three months of the Digital FSM Project have been very challenging but rewarding. Since the project began, new operators have entered the telecommunications market in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and are shaking up the status quo, introducing new products, lower prices and more reliability. Pasifika has played a key role in making the public of FSM aware of these changes to the telecom industry and how it will help change peopleโs lives.
Pasifika ensured that the Digital FSM Projectโs messages reach the general public and businesses through monthly e-newsletters, social media posts and media releases. Although itโs usually hard to measure the success of awareness-raising campaigns, the analytics provided by our digital platforms indicate that we are achieving impressive reach and engagement across FSM.

Staying Active Under Lockdown!
Running. Walking. Zumba. Weight sessions. Home-based workouts. Weโre doing it all!
While the team continues to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 by working from home, Team Pasifika is also staying physically active.
โStaying active is crucial because it not only keeps us fit but more importantly, it contributes to our mental health,โ commented General Manager Natalia Evans. โThis is especially vital in these very uncertain times.โ
To stay accountable and to make working out fun, we currently have an interdepartmental competition going on. Part of the competition has our staff using a free online app to track daily physical activities.
