Signing News: Kneel Before The Death Joins Ranka 🔥

We are happy to welcome Kneel Before The Death to the Ranka roster! Kneel Before The Death, KBTD, is a four-piece extreme metal act from Helsinki. Their take on metal blends together elements from death metal, deathcore, symphonic metal, black metal and electronic music. The release of the single ’Eternal Sleep’ in 2023 launched a new chapter in the band’s story introducing the updated KBTD sound and the new singer to the metal scene. Since then the quartet has been building on their vision of theatrical, aggressive and epic metal that has been noticed also at Ranka:

"It is important for us to be involved in helping Finnish metal band with international potential to enter the market, and Kneel Before the Death is one of the few who has recently shown to be good enough for the task. To help out, we found an excellent studio wizard Jonathan Dolese from the US to finalize the KBTD sound. Metalcore and extreme metal are very popular at the moment and it will be interesting to see how Kneel Before The Death's career develops" Riku Pääkkönen says.

For the band this is an exciting next step:

”After working years as an independent band, we are super stoked to be working with Ranka Kustannus! With their strong track record as trailblazers in creating the new generation of stars, especially in the Finnish metal scene, there is no better partner to take KBTD to the next level. We can't wait to release our debut album with them!”

The first single with Ranka will be released this Friday. ’Rise’ represents what KBTD is about: brutal vocals, grand orchestration, heavy breakdowns and powerful chorus. The track is mixed and mastered by Jonathan Dolese at KonKrete Studios. The band’s debut album will be released in 2025.

Suomenkielisen rap metallin suunnannäyttäjä Lähiöbotox julkaisee kolmannen albuminsa 8. marraskuuta. Metalcoren elementteihin kiedottua ja rap-lyriikkaan upotettua kipua, kapinaa ja suoraa puhetta kuullaan The Riffissä keskiviikkona 6. marraskuuta klo 18 alkaen.

Prepare for an intense ride filled with crushing metalcore riffs and razor-sharp rap lyrics, full of raw emotion and rebellion.
