Baltic Sea House - Itämeritalo Four organisations under one roof: Centrum Balticum, UBC, Baltic Region Healthy Cities, Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea. Näitä ovat mm.

Itämeripäivä tulee taas! Itämeren omaa päivää vietetään Turussa elokuun viimeisenä torstaina 26.8. tapahtumien, tempausten ja koulutuksen merkeissä.

Kesän aikana esitellään täällä somessa vuoden 2021 Itämeripäivän ohjelmaa ja yhteistyökumppaneita, olkaa siis kuulolla!

This week the second CIVITAS ECCENTRIC PMG meeting was organised in Turku including a workshop on Mobility as as Service (MaaS).

The cities of Madrid, Munich, Ruse, Stockholm and Turku were joined by representatives from the city of Helsinki and the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications. The workshop concluded with a refreshing winter bicycling experience on a fatbike! The next day, cities saw Turku's living lab (Kupittaa) from a beautiful rooftop terrace.

The ninth Baltic Sea Region Forum will take place at the Turku School of Economics (Rehtorinpellonkatu 3) on the 20th of May 2016 under the theme "Maritime cluster in the Baltic Sea region and beyond”. The focus of the Forum will be on transport, shipbuilding and marine cluster.

Turun Sanomat tarjoilee tänään mielenkiintoisia uutisia hankkeesta, jossa testataan kipsikäsittelyn vesiensuojelullista tehoa pelloilla Savijoki-varressa, Liedossa. Käsittelyn uskotaan yhdessä haja-asutusalueiden parantuneen jätevedenpuhdistuksen kanssa voivan olennaisesti parantaa veden laatua Saaristomerellä. Jäämme innolla odottamaan tuloksia! Hankkeesta vastaavat Helsingin yliopisto - Helsingfors universitet ja Suomen ympäristökeskus SYKE.
