Thinking Heidi will be happy or super excited to see animal in the zoo, NOPE!! Tantrum and being difficult. Explore big area at her age is not easy. Not only her but all of us exhausted. Quickly fix the situation with decision to leave this place without see/visit all the animal.

We should just wait a bit untill she is in the age that could appreciate this thing, especially when the ticket is not cheap. Well, at least we tried, now we knew 😉

We supposed to visit old car museum but trapped here, the place where they store everything from motorsports tournament. Even the car toys in the playground are legend 😎 well, Heidi seemed to be okay with them.

Bali is way too far from home, so we choose the closer one in Estonia, Pärnu. One thing that is memorable, is their expensive parking and you gotta do it through app.

Elva is a small city in Viljandi that is so peaceful and not much ppl. Even in the city center we just met few ppl and saw few cars around. We stopped by cause Heidi need rest from the car seat.

There are many of KGB prison cells in Estonia (that now become museum), and one we can visit is in Tartu. Read the history of every belongings, stuff, pictures, even simulation of "the knocking door" are enough to make you goosebumps.

Small beautiful place in the Lake Peipsi. There are cafes, restaurants, and also big grocery stores nearby. The main landmark is the harbour that offers you some activities, relax in the cafe with cheap local menu, picnic in the beach, swim, or do water sports. Heidi herself has enjoy the freedom at the outdoor playground, run, and play with sand.

As tourist, we see the environment is safe and peaceful, which is what we're looking for our holiday. People around us were speak Russian. There are 2 churches, Orthodox and Lutheran, so from that we assumed locals here are also Russian ppl. Many buildings and houses are old, footage of Soviet era.

Wake up in Lake Peipsi

We stay few days in a nice cabin next to Lake Peipsi, one of summer holiday dream comes true.

Lake Peipsi is the biggest lake in Estonia and become a border of Estonia and Russia. We are in Estonia ofc but the other side of the lake is Russia. The wind, the sand, the swim, feels like you're in the ocean.

One day we will come back for sure

One of the most known "Ghost Town" in Estonia, as same as how urban explorer content creator pop up this town to their content.

But we saw differences, that there are many civilian living in this town. From the old house renovate to be summer house with the nice garden, to the totally new house built, blending in with some abandon/broken building. There is even outdoor play ground and fitness which is clearly told this town is alive 😉

Can't show house that have ppl live in there, ofc because it's rude or maybe illegal since it's someone's property.

So then.. Viivikonna is a small peaceful place not a ghost town anymore.

[Tallinn Tv Tower] to see Tallinn from 170m above.

Since 1980, was built for Moscow Summer Olympic, and become the tallest nonbuilding structure in Tallinn.

Get inside to see some history of the tower itself displayed on the wall screen, interactive touchscreen game for kids, indoor play ground for toddler, cafe, and observation deck. One of the must visit place when you are in Pirita.

Everything about our experience in Pirita, first staycation in Tallinn.

[-] Start in the parking lot, i argue with Estonian man to get the parking spot because we've been waiting for long to get in. There is no rule, as you see empty spot, just get in there asap. Well, almost 3 years being in Finland with well manner and super polite rules, have no idea that i need to get back to my Indonesian culture, fight for your right and fairness.

[-] Many complains to the apartment management that served us with poor service and can't help.

🫥 Parking spot for the apartment guest is share with normal beach visitor that you have to wait over one hour to get spot, while there is a huge special parking spot for the apartment room owner. Paid to stay in the apartment but have pain in the as* to get your car parked. I myself book this apartment because of the free parking but don't know have to fight for it.

🫥 Unclean room, slightly broken floor and cloth cabinet. With tired body after long trip from Finland, sleep in the unclean bed is call another fight. Seemed like somebody else have been in the room and they don't clean it for us.

🫥 Annoying shower, the water keep leaking.

🫥 Kettle is dirty that we prefer not to use it, so skip coffee in the morning that absolutely leading to “not good mood" for the entire day.

[+] Location is good, play until late night and wake up in the beach 😉

[+] Nice restaurant in the apartment, enjoy your meal with sunset view.

Absolutely not come back again to this property for staycation.

Khinkali, Hatchapuri, Sashlik, and Georgian Lemonade in bottle. All were great.

One of our good experience with food in Estonia that we tried Georgian dishes. Best one is in the east-Estonia next to the road where leading to the border, Narva (Estonia-Rusia border).

Most customers here speak Russian, so the same to all the waitress as well. Luckily there was young student waitress try to help with English so that we can get our order. I remember in total we spent €65 but absolutely worth it.

Ke pasar tradisional begini memang jarang2 ya, cuma setahun sekali tapi puji Tuhan ada papa2 yang telaten ngejar anak.. Anak yang aktif dan gak pemalu, menolak semua tawaran jajanan, bahkan makan minum gak mau, sibuk lari dan bersosialisasi.. nyapa "hai" ke semua oma2 yang dia samperin, rampas balon anak lain, dan masuk ke tempat jualan orang pegang mainan yang dia ga ngerti kalo itu dijual. Mama papa bisa nyantai pas Mummu (Oma bule) datang, ada yang gantian ngejar Heidi.
