Highly anticipated Viive debut “Sen Jälkeen Kun” out on Thursday 31.10.2024!

The three singles “Tulva”, “Ikävä” and ”Väijytys” have all received overwhelmingly warm welcome and even we knew we had something special on the way the feedback has still made our weeks while waiting for the full album release! These three tracks stands on them selves strongly. Still this is an album that you will want to flip over and over again!

The hills, meadows, and forest edges invite us to reflect on one’s place in the solar system. Golden dragonflies buzz by, like carriers of interstellar cargo. New-age shepherds stamp travel cards with the saxophone’s reed and the piano’s hammer. Nearby, a sizable city casts its shadow over nature’s own grassy and rocky studio. Nervousness and wonder need an outlet. It’s better to share than to conceal. Let’s be open, yet the whole remains a great mystery and the solar system’s own secret.

Commenting on this era with old-time, earthy spiritual jazz.

Together with another Tampere local label, Ultraääni Records, we are delighted to introduce Solar Unity Ensemble!

Multi-instrumentalist Roope & saxophonist Henri are on a mission to explore, understand, and tap into the cosmic flow of free musical expression. They met at art school back in 2014, where they began their initial sessions in the school cellar. After graduation, their journey included a hiatus and a fortunate reunion, ultimately leading to recording music together from 2019 to 2023.

We’re thrilled to announce that the initial 300 copies of Tahmela Six’s debut album, “Mount,” have sold out faster than expected! Fear not! Due to popular demand, we’ve taken the initiative to press an additional 200 copies. The second batch will be available in late August, so mark your calendars!
