Hearken, my brethren. 😆

I wish to deepen my understanding of English grammar. I know that among you are peeps who have studied creative writing, or are simply further on this journey than I am.

I know some say that one just needs to read and write, but that would be the same as only watching UFC and sparring. Where are the techniques? And the drilling? Perhaps I'm overthinking, let me know your opinions.

So ... If I were to put together a prose writer's curriculum, what do you think should certainly be on the list? Is there anything that helped you in taking your writing to the next level?

I've read/studied Elements of style and Writing great sentences (A course guidebook from Prof Landon), of which both I found extremely helpful.
