A young Georgian man named Lado is involved in smuggling antique furniture from Georgia to Russia. Tired of his immaturity, Medea, Lado’s girlfriend, buys for herself the apartment in St. Peterburg’s historic center. It is sold at a very low price because the apartment comes with its owner, Vadim Vadimich – an opinionated, old-fashioned character. At the time of the unlawful deportation of thousands of Georgians from Russia, Lado is caught and deported. The antique warehouse is raided, while Medea hides in a wardrobe.

Tällaista upeutta valmistumassa: Elina Hyvärisen ohjaama ja käsikirjoittama dokumentaarinen elokuva RAJALLA (73') äänimiksattiin just ja maali häämöttää horisontissa! Elokuva seuraa aivan Venäjän rajalla asuvien parikkalalaisten arkea, kun rautaesirippu laskeutuu uudelleen Suomen ja Venäjän rajalle, Venäjän hyökättyä Ukrainaan 2022, eikä tulevaisuus ole enää sitä, mitä hetki sitten vielä luultiin.

Työryhmäkin oli upea: kuvaus: Jarkko Virtanen, leikkaus: Nikke Bagge, äänisuunnittelu: Janne Laine ja eeppinen alkuperäismusiikki: Emil Sana! Värimäärittely Jussi Myllyniemi ja Whitepoint Digital. Graafinen suunnittelu: Tuuli Gröhn. Kuvassa työnsä äärellä Janne paikassa Meguru film sound oy.
