Who are the people who make Christmas? For Napa Agency and Paulig it’s Mirva Malmgren! ❤️🎅 Paulig has celebrated the makers of Christmas for the past years with their seasonal Juhla Mokka Christmas packaging. This year’s Christmas packaging captures a masterfully detailed Christmas market setting with bountiful details to discover illustrated by Napa Agency’s talented illustrator and surface designer Mirva Malmgren ✨😍

Mirva’s illustration pays tribute to the everyday heroes who are an integral part of the Finnish Christmas experience and atmosphere. 👋🌭 Who are these funny fellows rocking the brand-new Saarioinen mayonnaise bottles? The hot dog, burger and taco characters are illustrated by Napa’s MIKKO SAARAINEN – and this is how product illustration is DONE 👊🌮 Mikko is known for his personal, detail-rich characters that are humorous and strongly stylized 👈🍔 You can now find these cutesy mayo bottles in stores across Finland and spice up your family food gatherings! The package design is mastered by SEK 💪 Huge thanks to SEK and Saarioinen for the commission 😍

🌅 Recovery Peace 🌅 is the theme of this year’s mental health week campaign for Mielenterveyden keskusliitto (Finnish Central Association for Mental Health). Napa Agency’s Oona Mäkelä designed the beautifully thoughtful visuals for this important campaign. The visuals remind us that life can be stressful with all of the surrounding stimuli – both at work and at home. The center of the illustration really encapsulates the theme of the week with a person surrounded by warm light, enjoying a quiet peaceful moment with their pet. 🌟 Mental health recovery doesn’t have a deadline so let’s give people the time and space they need. As Mielenterveyden Keskusliitto says on their website: “recovery isn’t always getting back to what you used to be like. Sometimes recovery can mean the creation of something new. And that is okay.” ❤️

Let the countdown begin… The first Advent is already next week, and may this calendar bring out your inner child’s Christmas joy! 🎄🎤🐶🎵⛪️ Napa Agency's wonderful illustrator Mirva Malmgren filled the Christmas calendar of the Lutheran Church of Helsinki with a nostalgic choir scene and a very cute pianist conducting the Christmas choir 🕯🎶 Mirva is a Christmas fan and she enjoys the festive sason's decorativeness, beauty, and even a bit of nostalgia so she wanted to bring these elements to the calendar's illustration as well ❤️

The texts in every calendar window are written by Hilkka Olkinuora and are available in Finnish, Swedish, and English. This calendar is sent to the homes of all the parishioners mainly in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen, Finland 🎁💫 It will also bring cozy, childhood-Christmas feelings to everyone daily as each window opens on the social channels 📲✨ https://www.facebook.com/kirkkohelsingissa/

The world is full of astonishing illustrations – we often admire the images but don't get to know who on earth created them! Time to appreciate Napa Agency's talents and their favourite projects, plus Napa's beloved clients – the illustration commissioners for trusting the projects in our illustrators' and agency's hands! Here are the three cases which will start a whole series of presentations:

🌺 Sofia Pusa – the mastermind of the blooming Kämp Galleria summer look of '25, one of her dream projects!

🦊 Riku Ounaslehto – the multitalented artist who "foxified" the award-winning comms materials for Helsinki City day care centres and schools

📚 and Marko Turunen – the wizard of the city mobile library, an edgy visual love song to literature as well as his hometown, Kotka!

📮What a jolly time at the launch event of this year’s Christmas stamps, with Napa Agency the Finnish Postal service Posti and the designer stars themselves! This year the official xmas stamps of Posti Group are drawn by the legendary Finnish illustrator Mauri Kunnas and the graphic design is by the talented Jenna Kunnas!

These small masterpieces depict Santa Claus baking magical gingerbreads which come to life to sing choir music while conducted by Santa himself. 🎅🍪🎶At this one of a kind release event Mauri Kunnas signed the stamps for the lucky guests attending 🌟✍️ – a rare treat from the mastermind behind many illustrated children’s book classics 📕 Posti also arranged a special event for the media, where invited guests had the opportunity to interview Mauri and hear his thoughts on designing stamps – and Christmas traditions!
