Sam Shinglers Boundaries is now available as vinyl LP. In digital format it has been released as trilogy of EPs and the finishing chapter Boundaries Part III was released yesterday.

Release day - what an equivocal concept. Today I’m releasing both my second solo album as a vinyl LP, and the third and last part of a trilogy of digital EP’s. But it doesn’t stop there. I feel like I’m releasing (as in letting go of) an era, and moving on to something new and unknown. This body of work that is called Boundaries wraps up something that started as a self study, a quest to dig deeper, a learning process - and lest I forget, originally a quarantine project. It’s been a fantastic experience, but also exhausting and at times lonely - despite the help and participation of many people, to whom I’m forever grateful. Iisa Pajula, Antti Hietala, Susanna Syrjäläinen, Janne Nissilä, Otso Koskelo, Mauri Syrjälä, Jarno Alho, Mia Keurulainen, Joanna Sulonen, Pauliina Rahiala, Timo Silvennoinen, Maria Luhtanen, Veikko Kähkönen and Milla Muurimäki are just some of the people whose input can be heard, felt and seen on Boundaries.
Each and every song from Boundaries is out and that fills me with with pride, joy and relief. Whether you prefer your music on vinyl or streaming services, I hope you give Boundaries a chance to do something to you. I’m letting go of it today, it’s all yours. I really hope you enjoy.
