Agriculture is the backbone of Ethiopia’s economy, accounting for 80% of employment and 70% of exports. Despite this, women in Ethiopia have faced significant barriers to entering the sector and achieving equal opportunities for success. In this episode, we will explore the motivations that drive women to enter the agriculture sector, the challenges they face, and the strategies that have been successful in promoting gender equity in the sector.
