I’m Bea. I’m a working mama building an online business so that I can eventually hand in my notice and become a full time momma & online entrepreneur.

I love animals, sports & any kind of outdoor activity, but most of all I LOVE being a mama. And I am 100% not made to be stuck in an office allll day until I retire.

That’s why I started my online business, with ZERO experience & ZERO social media following. I took the leap because I knew that I was meant for more. What people don’t see…

(About having animals)

They don’t see the early wake ups. The all nighters when one’s sick. They are very much like children in the fact that you have to care for them so much.
And as with children you always come last. So the list here goes children, animals, mum.

They don’t see how you have to juggle things around their schedule and in winter and summer when it’s too hot to go out, too cold and they need rugs on or there’s no light.

They don’t see the struggle to organise vacations because you need someone who they trust and who knows what they’re doing around animals not just anybody to look after them. You can’t just pick up and go one weekend because you feel like it.

They don’t see that you have to show up for them even when you’re sick or your kids sick because they have no one else and it’s your responsibility. So that’s how we were today. All sick, we got the rucksack on and we go to work because these animals are our family.

They also don’t see the sweet moments, the mundane day to day life of being with animals, the sloppy kisses and the furry neck hugs.

And for all of the work that no one sees, it is worth it because they deserve a great life too. They bring us so much joy and we are so blessed to have them. 💕

Seeing her smile is everything!

There is no greater feeling than watching your child grow and experience life.

I made a promise to her that by the time she was 3 we wouldn’t have to be rushing around in the morning, trying to get things done or rush the drop off so I could go to work.

I do not make promises that I can’t keep.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

Something I live by! You cannot compare yourself to anyone because we all have a different path. We all start from different places.

My mentor said to me if everyone was trying to get to Texas, you wouldn’t compare how long it took them if they lived in different parts of the world.

If you’re travelling from the UK it’s going to take you a lot longer than if you’re travelling from California, for example.

So why do we compare our own journey with someone else’s?!

Yes they may have reached the goal quicker than you but they may have started closer to the goal. You never know.

So don’t compare yourself to anyone else.

We’re on our own path and timeline and where you are right now is exactly where you need to be.

Unpopular opinion…

There’s no shortcut.

In a day and age where we want instant gratification, where we only have an attention span for 10 second videos and if it’s too long we swipe onto the next, to me it’s no surprise that we don’t have what it takes to build something worthwhile and lasting.

We expect to have it already and we can’t understand why we don’t.

Things take time. You don’t reap the rewards the same day you plant the seeds.

I used to be worried about what people said about me starting an online business…

But now I’m learning to drown out the noise. People who talk are usually the ones not doing anything.

You would never hear a millionaire giving you a hard time for trying to start your own business…so why do others? Usually because of their own insecurities, because they’re not doing anything with their lives.

So, Why would you listen to someone who isn’t doing anything with their life but trying to tell you how and what to do with yours?

Self belief has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do on my journey as an entrepreneur.

I didn’t believe that I could do it. I thought I didn’t have what it took to start a business and make it successful.

I still have my days but my mindset has completely shifted and without my supportive online community I’d still be exactly where I was just under a year ago.

Why do we always think that making mistakes is bad?

Making mistakes is how we learn.

We wouldn’t judge a child for writing something incorrectly, or spelling something badly. Because that is how they learn.

So why do we continue to think that mistakes are bad.

They are an essential part of life. We learn from our mistakes. So let’s embrace them and not feel so bad if things don’t work out exactly the way we thought.

I had to get really honest with myself.

If you’re not happy with where you are in life then you must do something to change it.

If you don’t change anything the next 5 years are going to be exactly the same as the last 5 years of your life.

We cannot expect to do nothing, change nothing and that by some miracle our lives are going to be different.

It just doesn’t happen like that. You have to be proactive.

Top Tips for facial cupping ⬇️⬇️ Just a disclaimer: I am no expert. I was requested to share on something I personally use and wanted to provide value for others. Here are some tips I’ve found helpful when facial cupping. 1. Always use oil. Whichever oil is best for your own skin. I use recovery oil because it’s what doesn’t make me break out. The oil lubricates and allows the vacuum to glide. 2. Make sure your face is clean & washed before applying the oil & cupping. I use a salicylic acid soap. That’s what works best for me. 3. Don’t get distracted when cupping because if you leave the vacuum in one area too long you get a perfect circle shape bruise that looks like a hickey 🤣 There are so many benefits to facial cupping. 3 things that don’t sit right with me… 1. How were supposed to feel lucky because we get 3 weeks vacation a year. What about the other 49 weeks a year?! Life is supposed to be about living, not working and then seeing if there’s enough time, money & energy left over to do something in our vacation time. 2. We have to ask permission for when to take our vacation time. And they can say no if it’s not suitable for them. Why do we, as adults, have to ask for permission to use our holiday days? We should be able to take the time when we feel like it or need or not when it’s convenient for someone else. 3. We’re made to feel like we’re lucky if we have a job that includes such conditions. It’s really not working for me. I wasn’t ready to settle so I started building a business online that will eventually grow big enough to be able to quit fully my 9-5 (already gone part time).
