THE RICE FIELDS AND THE ALBUFERA AS INSPIRATION
At Feria Hábitat València 2025, we present the Suite Odosdesign x Hotel Barracas designed by Tomás Alía - a project that pays tribute to the rice fields and the Mediterranean essence.
Each piece in the space has been designed ad hoc, reinterpreting the traditional landscape of the Valencian rice fields through a contemporary language and thanks to collaborations with brands such as , , , , , , , , , and .

An interior that connects nature, tradition, and design, transforming the calm of the Albufera into an experience of rest and contemplation.

En Odosdesign hemos tenido la oportunidad de diseñar la prueba piloto de las
EcoTerrazas Sostenibles en Valencia, ubicadas en la calle Cura Femenía, en el barrio de Ruzafa.

Una iniciativa impulsada por Valencia Innovation Capital que busca un objetivo común: repensar el espacio público a través del diseño, conciliando las necesidades de hostelería, vecinos y usuarios.

El proyecto se estructura en cuatro ejes clave:
▫️Mejora acústica - el gran reto: desarrollo de paneles fonoabsorbentes para exteriores, una solución pionera sin precedentes que actualmente está en fase de ensayo. • ▫️Coordinación estética - diseño de un modelo de terraza unificado, con una paleta cromática inspirada en la identidad arquitectónica de la ciudad.
▫️Sostenibilidad - mobiliario fabricado con materiales responsables y de bajo impacto ambiental, en medida de lo posible.
▫️Concienciación ciudadana - diseño de la pantalla de una lámpara que se ilumina en rojo al superar los decibelios permitidos, fomentando la autorregulación por parte del usuario y la convivencia.

Este proyecto ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración entre , , la Asociación de Hostelería de Russafa Al Balansi, .es ,
Silenzia, Loriot, y , en un ejemplo de cooperación público-privada que demuestra cómo el diseño puede convertirse en un motor de transformación urbana.

Las EcoTerrazas Sostenibles representan un laboratorio urbano de innovación: un espacio vivo donde experimentar nuevas formas de habitar la ciudad de manera más sostenible, respetuosa y consciente.
En los próximos meses, los resultados de las mediciones permitirán evaluar el impacto de esta prueba piloto.

When Jewelry and Architecture Converge. MadridJoya 2025:

Jewelry and architecture share a common language: both work with proportion, light, materiality, and scale. At the stand, this relationship is amplified.

The architectural design seeks to embrace visitors from the very first moment, generating an organic atmosphere through a rib-like structure that wraps the space. The layout is conceived so that visitors discover the jewelry in a suggestive order, flowing naturally through the space while always feeling guided.

Each collection is displayed within micro-architectures that establish a dialogue with its identity. These exhibition settings combine diverse textures and materials, creating a visual experience that enhances the uniqueness of each jewelry proposal.

Carefully controlled technical lighting creates a warm atmosphere and amplifies the natural brilliance of the pieces, turning them into the true protagonists of the space.

“Spain is in” continues to grow. A graphic identity that goes beyond design — it speaks about how we live, how we communicate, and how we evolve.

This year, our proposal starts with a typeface full of character and visual memory. Around it, we built a flexible, recognisable system that adapts to every context and format.
Vibrant colours, dynamic compositions, and functional stickers complete an identity designed to reflect the diversity and impact of Spanish design on today’s habitat.

Designing a brand is also designing a message. And this one, more than ever, speaks clearly.

The Present of Spanish Design is a curated editorial guide conceived as a high-impact catalogue showcasing the most representative pieces of Spanish industrial design for the habitat sector from the past three years. Created and manufactured by leading Spanish companies and industrial designers, the project is published by & with the aim of strengthening the international visibility of Spanish industrial design through a publication that serves both as a showcase and a statement of identity.

Featuring contributions from 69 companies, the guide offers a refined selection of furniture, lighting, and rug designs by Spanish designers — all recognized for their creativity, technical excellence, and commitment to quality. Aimed at an international professional audience, the publication highlights the most relevant trends in the sector.

The editorial concept plays on the dual meaning of the word present: as a gift — an offering of design, history, and talent — and as the current moment, reflecting the present state of Spanish design. A moment marked by creative maturity, where tradition and innovation intertwine to give rise to meaningful, emotionally resonant, and sustainable proposals.

The publication includes a foreword by and features internationally awarded pieces, many of them created by designers or companies that have received Spain’s National Design Award. It stands as a tribute to Spanish know-how, to the collaborative spirit between designers and manufacturers, and to an understanding of industrial design as a bridge between the local and the global, the past and the future.

Dorik is the result of a co-creation process where creative vision and industrial expertise move forward together.

Inspired by the Doric columns of Greek architecture, Dorik was conceived as a reinterpretation of that sculptural strength in a table defined by clean proportions and essential forms. The process began on paper, evolved through sketches, models, and prototypes, and was brought to life thanks to close collaboration with the team, who contributed their full technical and manufacturing know-how.

The use of rotational molding was key to achieving a structure that is both robust and lightweight, with exceptional attention to detail. This technique faithfully translated the original design intent into the final piece, giving it a unique and sophisticated texture.

Dorik is available in a wide range of finishes, sizes, and heights, supports integrated electrification, and can be configured with one or multiple columns—adapting seamlessly to workspaces, hospitality environments, contract settings, or outdoor areas.

A project where every design decision was shaped by technical, material, and functional reflection.

Dorik, the table collection designed by for , has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award—one of the most prestigious international design recognitions.

Inspired by the Doric columns of Greek architecture, Dorik reinterprets timeless elegance through a design of pure lines and harmonious proportions. Its central structure, created using rotational molding, allows for different configurations, sizes, and heights. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it can also feature integrated electrification, naturally adapting to workspaces, contract settings, or residential environments.

The Spanish Landscapes: Timeline to Design exhibition in Taipei, was a remarkable event that brought the essence of Spanish art and design to the international stage.
Its goal was to offer a deep immersion into the creativity and innovation of Spanish design, featuring a curated selection that spanned product design, graphic design, and architectural works.

The catalog, conceived as a detailed companion to the exhibition, allows for a deeper exploration of the featured pieces. More than just a guide, it serves as a narrative tool that reveals the artistic and conceptual journey behind each work.

Its graphic design follows the visual identity of the exhibition, creating an aesthetic continuity between both formats. It includes original sketches by the designers, images, and brief descriptions, offering an intimate glimpse into the creative thinking behind the designs.

The catalog reflects the richness, diversity, and depth of Spanish design. Our goal was to create a piece that not only informs, but also inspires.
