Making Biophilic Design Tangible
How does the presence of nature change the way we perceive a space?
Our work with Citysens Lab explores this question through two complementary tools: art direction and a catalogue designed to convey that same perspective.
In the art direction, we created a visual universe where light, material textures, and vegetation build quiet, atmospheric scenes. Each composition shows how Citysens Lab’s pieces soften their surroundings, add presence, and generate a subtle emotional balance — transforming offices, hospitality spaces, or everyday interiors into places that feel more human, calm, and oriented toward wellbeing.
The catalogue continues this approach. The cover, made from Materica VerdeGris paper, is inspired by vegetal surfaces and organic shadows, establishing an immediate connection with the brand’s biophilic essence from the very first touch. Inside, warm recycled papers, soft tones, and generous white space create a slow, serene reading rhythm. Every material decision and every graphic gesture reinforces the idea that wellbeing is also communicated through details.
Together, both projects form a coherent ecosystem: a visual and editorial journey that reveals the true potential of biophilic design — not as a decorative resource, but as a way of creating spaces that gently care for the people who inhabit them.
