The number of Camino walkers registering at the Camino office here is roughly two thousand per day and (overall) 168 thousand have officially arrived this year - so far. Wishing you a happy and peaceful Friday. After a rainy few days, the sun made a brief and welcome appearance this morning. Broadcasting live from a chilly Santiago de Compostela at https://www.radioking.com/play/camino-fm/668404 According to the Pilgrims's office almost 700 pilgrims have received their certificate so far this year, which is 17% over the same period in 2023. It is too early to say, but maybe this year will be another record breaking year for the Camino. Either way, buen camino and well done to all the walkers who have braved the harsh January weather to get here to Santiago. Have a great weekend wherever you are.
