🇪🇸 Pedro Barbadillo was born in Seville (Andalusia, Southern Spain) & has been a non-fiction film producer & director for almost 35 years, producing investigative & current affairs documentaries for various Spanish and international television programs.

🎦 Founder of the auteur cinema CineCiutat, in Palma in 2012, he was a member of the board of directors of CICAE, The International Association of Auteur Cinema & has been a jury at film festivals such as Berlinale ('Panorama' & 'Forum' sections) & Cannes ('La Quinzaine des Realisateurs).

🏝 As Director of the Mallorca Film Commission, since its creation in 2010, he has worked in the assistance & support of film productions in Mallorca & the promotion of the island's film industry & locations in the film markets.

🙌 We're super excited to announce that the wonderful 'Louise Salter' will be returning to join this years EMIFF48HR Jury.

✨As someone who 'wears many hats' & has a whole list of skills, Louise has an incredible infectious energy & an inspiring amount of knowledge when it comes to filmmaking.

💪 Entering the film industry as an actress, Louise led in award-winning short films whilst developing her skills as a creative producer. In 2017, Louise co-created, produced & led alongside Scottish BAFTA-winner Sophie Kennedy Clark in her sci-fi short film, “How to be Human”. The film screened at international & BAFTA-qualifying festivals including Sitges, Raindance, Encounters, inside the Museum of Mexico City & at Miami International, where it won “best sci-fi” and Louise “best actress”.

✨ In no order of importance we discuss our most essential crew when it comes to putting together your winning 48hr team.

🎥 Generally for a 48hr film we’re down to a Skeleton Crew - stripped to the bare essential members in order to save money, or to be less conspicuous when shooting guerrilla style!

We understand that incredible 48hr films can be made with even less in a team or many more & that there is no right or wrong way to win a 48hr competition, but for the sake of this post we’ve decided on 5!
