The poster of the Feria, the work of Lucía Muñoz, and the program
The Councilor for Fiestas Mayor has presented the poster for the Nerja Fair 2023, as well as the program of activities that will take place between October 7 and 12.
The poster is a photograph, digitally treated, of Lucía Muñoz who was very grateful for contributing her work to promote the Nerja Fair, also indicating that it is “a source of pride.”
Elena Gálvez has outlined some of the activities that will take place at the Fair, in addition to the concerts at the Municipal Booth that she already announced a few days ago.
For example, on the 7th, at 8:00 p.m., a concert will take place in front of the Town Hall and half an hour later the proclamation will begin by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Las Angustias and San Miguel Arcángel.
At 11:00 p.m. the Grand Gala will begin for the election of the Queen and Knight of the Fair 2023, which this year is called “Gala Xia”.
On Sunday, the 8th, at 12:00 p.m. at the Casetas El Cortijo, the election of the Queen and Children's Knight 2023 will take place and in the afternoon, starting at 4:00 p.m., the same will be done with the Queen and the Knight of the Third Age. There will also be the election of the best dressed older flamenco.
Monday the 9th highlights the sevillanas competitions that will take place from 5:00 p.m. at the Caseta El Cortijo, a sevillanas competition and the election of the best dressed flamenco.
At 5:30 p.m., in the parking lot on Almirante Carranza Street, there will be an equestrian exhibition.
On Tuesday, the 10th, the Grand Float Parade will take place at 12 noon. The procession of the patrons of Nerja will start at 8:30 p.m. from the church of El Salvador.
On Wednesday the 11th, at 1:00 p.m., the Tribute Lunch for the Elderly will take place at the Municipal Cassette with awards to the grandparents of Nerja.
