It’s time to head back to the forge, to the place where it all began, where the smith first brought the hammer down upon the anvil, tempering the British steel that would become Forged In Black! It’s time to celebrate 15 years of real heavy metal, 15 years of indefatigable spirit and musical power! It’s time to reach back into the past and draw the earliest creations of FORGED IN BLACK from the cold ashes and thrust them back into the fire, reinvigorating the hellion screams and contagious riff attacks! It’s time for FORGED IN BLACK to be born again!

It was 2009 when the first line-up of FORGED IN BLACK was assembled, originally under the name Merciless Fail – a moniker that was soon abandoned as the sheer strength of the young band’s material became apparent. After relentless work in the rehearsal room and on the stage, by 2013 the rebranded FORGED IN BLACK were ready to record their debut, self-titled album – and it is that monumental piece of history that has now been remastered and expanded, adorned in rejuvenated artwork and unleashed again in celebration of fifteen years at the forge!

Over the decade and a half of their existence FORGED IN BLACK have performed at Bloodstock Open Air and Hammerfest, graced the stage of the legendary Camden Underworld with the likes of Diemonds and metal legends Demon; they have worked with top producers like Chris Tsangarides (Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath etc) and Romesh Dodangoda (Motörhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine etc) and had their recorded works lavished in praise by major magazines such as Zero Tolerance and Powerplay. What better way to mark their achievements than with a powerful new version of the album that started it all? Songs like the eponymous anthem ‘Forged In Black’ itself and the epic ‘Accusations Of The Innocent’ remain important elements of the FORGED IN BLACK live show to this day, absolute fan favourites that now sound better than ever with the muscular remastering work of Marcus Stock (Alcest, Green Carnation, Marché Funebre etc). The album’s tracklisting has also been expanded with the addition of two early EP title tracks, ‘The Tide’ and ‘The Exodus’ from 2013 and 2014 respectively; both prime slices of FORGED IN BLACK metal, these forgotten classics now have the platform they have always deserved – remastered and heavier than ever!

The original "Forged In Black" album artwork has been reimagined in vibrant fashion by the band’s guitarist Andy Songhurst, an acclaimed professional tattoo artist in his life away from the forge. The elements of the image will be instantly familiar to longstanding fans of the original album, but the style and approach make the cover fresh and impactful, ablaze with new life and colour - just like the songs it accompanies. "Forged In Black - Remastered MMXXIV" will be released on December 3rd by Fighter Records, on CD and digital formats – and the hammer will land with a force unparalleled, a might like never before!

CRIMSON STORM sign with Fighter Rec.; 1st song, cover art & tracklist for debut album revealed!!

Spanish Speed/ Heavy Metal band CRIMSON STORM has just signed a deal with Fighter Records for the release of their 1st album entitled "Livin' On the Bad Side" which will be released in January 14th, 2025 on CD, 12"LP and Digital formats.

CRIMSON STORM was born in 2009 from the mind of guitarist and main writer Lögan Heads, when he lived in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy), with the intention of returning glory to Heavy/ Power/ Speed Metal of the 80's and bands like Riot, which inspired their name in their song "Sign of the Crimson Storm".

After several changes in the lineup and consolidating the band, they released their first EP "Motor City Maniac" in 2014, followed by a 7"EP titled "Speed Hammerin' Metal" in 2015, the year in which Lögan decided to move to Barcelona (Spain), reforming the band the following year with new members and finally releasing their 2nd EP "Outrageous" in 2019.

It is not until 2022 that the band manages to return to the stage opening for Stallion in Murcia, playing at the Trveheim Festival (Germany) and at the Pyrenean Warriors Open Air (France) and they begin to work on what will be their first full album.

Already in 2024 the band decides to enter the studio to shape their first full-length "Living' on the Bad Side" for which they signed to Fighter Records label (Spain) for worldwide promotion and distribution, in which they present their new songs along with songs from their first singles presented with their new line-up, sound quality and skill and reaching new levels of forcefulness, frenzy, 80's nostalgia and biker spirit!

Swedish Heavy Metal band GAUNTLET RULE have just launched a lyric-video, of the song "The Night Wind", as a 2nd advance single from their 2nd album entitled "After the Kill", which will be released in Novenber 12th, 2024 through Fighter Records on CD and Digital formats.

GAUNTLET RULE was formed in 2019 by guitarist Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Massacre) and bassist Peter Svensson (Assassin's Blade, Void Moon) with the intent of creating timeless Heavy Metal. The line-up was completed by vocalist Teddy Möller (Loch Vostok).

Despite of, or maybe because of, the style of GAUNTLET RULE being a huge departure from the styles of Johansson's and Möller's main bands, the band manages to create an original sounding record yet maintain all the trademarks of classic Metal. Following the release of the band's first album, "The Plague Court" (Target Rec.) in 2022, Kjetil Lynghaug and Marcus Rosenkvist joined the band on lead guitar and drums respectively. Lyrical themes include horror stories, war, internal struggles and supernatural concepts; sometimes several of the themes in one song.

The cover art for "After the Kill" was done by Juan Felipe More Ibáñez and the recording features two guest vocalists such as Jacques Bélanger (Asassin's Blade/ex-Exciter) on "Bite the Hand That Feels" and Federica De Boni (White Skull) on "After the Kill" as lead vocals on each track.
