Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (Andreas Tygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. Snarexx hails from the Far East and is an integral part of the vibrant Tomtom community and its associated gatherings. His artistic vision is deeply rooted in the raw energy of the ghetto dance scenes found in Chicago, Detroit, and the Southern rap culture.
Stepping into the electronic scene with unwavering commitment in 2020, Snarexx chose notable platforms like Urban, No Service, Habibi Bass, Philthtrax, urwaxx, and Posse Up! among others to release his innovative sounds. Notably, in the spring of 2023, he unveiled a remarkable EP on Ovelha Trax.
In a departure from his usual style, Snarexx has crafted an exceptional mix for us, delving into the realms of dirty and distorted electro. Enjoy it!

Since the early '80s, Luis Rozalén, better known as HD SUBSTANCE, has been immersed in the pulsating world of electronic beats. Co-founding Ballet Mecánico, he transitioned from synth-pop to darker tones until techno music captured his passion, prompting him to embark on a solo career. It was by then that he released his debut album, "Eleven," on Elefant Records, making a significant impact on the Spanish techno scene. With over two decades of influence in the industry as a multifaceted artist — DJ, writer, composer, remixer, and live performer — and an extensive repertoire of more than 30 EPs and six albums, HD Substance stands as a key figure in the history of Spanish electronic music. Hence, it's a great pleasure to welcome him on board with this N2MU Podcast. Enjoy it!

Darren Woollard, a.k.a. Dawl, is an adept DJ and producer as well as co-owner of Tone Dropout Records. Renowned for his mastery in genres like techno, bleep, electro, acid, breaks, etc., his repertoire extends to prestigious labels including Klasse Wrecks, Craigie Knowes, and Amen Brother. His musical journey traces back to the late 1980s, marked by early endeavors in amassing collections of hip-hop and rave records until the late 80s when he got his first turntable setup and has not stopped playing music since then.
