40th Anniversary Gala Sur in English
SUR in English anniversary gala to recognise the Costa del Sol's international pioneers. The newspaper will share its 40th year celebrations with some of the many organisations that bring communities together in the south of Spain.
Watch Malaga's Christmas video mapping show on the cathedral. Projected on the south side, the images can be seen on the unfinished tower of the place of worship and especially from calle Cortina del Muelle, in front of the AC Málaga Palacio hotel.

Planes struggling to take off and land at Malaga Airport
These were the scenes at Malaga Airport yesterday as winds and heavy rain caused some nervy moments for passengers coming into land. 🛬
While it seems that the worst of the weather has passed, yellow weather warnings are still in place across many parts of Andalucía until at least Monday ☔
Strong winds and rough seas in Malaga
One woman is in intensive care after winds up to 94 kph struck across Malaga province yesterday, bringing down trees and lampposts and causing over 250 incidents.
Rough seas mean that the Melilla-Malaga ferry is still not running today.
