After a short but very sweet summer i thought I would post a DJ mix with some of the tunes i played in my final set at . I know how much the staff (and the guests) love this kind of music and whilst disco will always be dear to me, I do love this deeper Afro vibe too. So here is an hour mix for all of you who inspired me this summer and do so every year. Some nice listening to get your ears into and either sit back and enjoy or dance around your living room. Dear Friends, Family and Beautiful People…

Today, on Monday 1st June, I am releasing my album Remastered Dreams. This is my fifth studio album and going to be the first album I have ever put on Bandcamp as well as the usual platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer iTunes, Beatport, Traxsource etc. I wanted to put it onto Bandcamp so that I could include some bonus tracks for everyone and some extra bits that I could reduce the price for. I have been giving a lot of my music away recently and will continue to be grateful for everyone who puts any of my tracks into their Spotify playlists.

I would also be very grateful for anyone who could purchase this one. Being without work for this amount of time has been tough and being able to sell a few copies of this would definitely help me until we can get back to work. I totally understand though, if people can’t buy the album as lots are without work and supporting other causes - like our NHS for example.

If you can, then the album is on Bandcamp at £7 (or however much you want to pay) - it’s £15 or so on most sites but I have put it at half price on Bandcamp, so if you want to support me and my music, then that is a good place to go and get it. As I said though, it is also available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music because I know that right now everyone is struggling with numerous things.

I think almost all of us have sat at home these months and considered many things about our lives, the way we treat people, where we are going, what the future will be like and countless other things. I don’t think any of us have been immune to this and I also believe that it has been healthy and good to connect to some deeper thinking. My dreams have always been firmly anchored into my thoughts and I use them to inspire me and and help me grow in life. I hope that everyone can find something in this album that inspires them.

I got the inspiration for a lot of the music on here from being at Wi-Ki-Woo in Ibiza and from the many great guests and staff there. I have to say big thanks to Luci Lopez, Gordy Taylor and Tony Truman for having me in there and giving me the platform from which to be inspired from. Also not forgetting Yolanda Torres for the support she has given me and many others along the way. Everyone who follows me on social networks and reposts or listens to my music is another person that I am extremely grateful to have in my circle.

The highlights of this album, for me, are definitely the Summer of Love with Zelma Davis and Keep On with Lisa Moorish. Both original songs written about very different moments and feelings but both feel extremely relevant at the moment. From not giving up and living life the way you think you should, to enjoying the summer, music and great vibes. There are also two wonderful tracks with Ben Dougan in there - a songwriter, singer and lyricist who I admire very much. And to all the session vocalists, I give a lot of thanks for your work.
