As women we've all been conditioned in some way—whether it’s adding "sorry" to the beginning of an email to soften a request, or feeling the need to downplay our emotions so we don’t come across as "too much." This conditioning, often ingrained by a patriarchal society, tells us to tone down our boldness, our desires, and even our independence. Women are frequently labeled as too emotional, too needy, or too loud.

Sometimes, understanding what women truly want in dating seems like solving a puzzle. But it's actually not that complicated. A lot of misconceptions and myths cloud the picture, and that’s what we’re going to unpack today. There’s this narrative around looks, status, money, and privilege—where a woman is often labeled a gold digger if she’s with a wealthy man, even though, sometimes, this label gets thrown around even when wealth isn’t a factor at all.

This misconception—that women are always seeking power, status, or financial security from a man—only scratches the surface. To really understand what women want in dating, you need to go deeper.

In this video , we dive deeper to understand What women actually want in dating, with insights from the new Netflix show, ´Nobody wants this´.

The quarter-life crisis is like hitting the “pause” button on adulthood between ages 25 and 35, where doubt and anxiety about the future come crashing in. It's a time when individuals are busy questioning their life choices while trying not to scroll through social media and feel like everyone else has their act together. Career-wise, they’re stuck in a high-stakes game of “Will I ever find a job that doesn’t make me want to cry in the break room?”—all while navigating the gig economy’s “fun” mix of flexibility and financial instability.

Financial stress adds another layer, as they try to juggle student loans with the high cost of avocado toast. Relationship pressures and societal expectations, like whether or not they should be married with kids by now, only add to the fun. As they search for meaningful work versus just a paycheck, they’re caught in a whirlwind of rapid life changes that make them feel like they’re auditioning for a role in a drama they didn’t sign up for. To cope, they might seek therapy, redefine what success means, and attempt to balance work with personal life, all while trying to avoid burnout and figuring out what truly makes them happy.

In this new video, I dive deeper into it.

Why Is It So Hard to Date in 2024?

Choice Anxiety: With dating apps providing seemingly endless options, we often find ourselves overwhelmed by the sheer number of potential partners. This paradox of choice can lead to indecision, fear of missing out (FOMO), and a constant search for the "perfect" partner that may not exist.

Accessibility Paradox:
Technology has made it easier than ever to meet new people, but has it also made us take these connections for granted? The accessibility paradox highlights how the ease of swiping and messaging has diluted the value of individual interactions. We'll discuss how this paradox contributes to fleeting relationships and a lack of commitment.

Delving deep into the key reasons behind the growing struggles in the modern dating world in the video below.

In my recent video, I explore a world where pleasure isn’t taboo but a celebration, where women’s desires are respected and prioritized as much as men’s.

We’re not quite there yet, but in this journey of pleasure from ancient times to today, highlighting the evolution and enduring challenges of female sexual empowerment, perhaps we get there sooner.
