Our Knights Templar special collectors box was published in April 2020 and featured on its cover the Capture of Jerusalem, 1299, by Jacques de Molay. The illustration is an original oil painting by Fench artist and lithographer Claude Jacquand (known as Claudius Jacquand) 1804-1878.

After successfully launching Alcázar Games on Kickstarter in May 2020 we are delighted to confirm that our first Holy Wars and Age of Discovery game decks were safely dispatched to our Kickstarter backers on Thursday 9th July 2020 from the UK by Royal Mail, First Class Airmail service.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks again to those backers who offered their incredible support and successfully funded our project, helping us bring our collectors card games to life.

A small glimpse of our creative and development process, from detailed historical research and data in our notebooks, to makeshift paper prototype cards, and finally many months later our first factory printed cards.

Our team at Alcázar Games have been hard at work developing a medieval tabletop board game based on Holy Wars.

Our Holy Wars board game will allow you to resurrect lost medieval military orders and re-create the Crusades, or indeed your very own version of history, as you vie for power in the Holy Land against your sworn enemies!
