Release day!🔥 Nuke delivers his two new tracks titled “Steel Runner” and “KC Shuffle” on Codex!
“Steel Runner” is the physical side of this duality. The base is pure energy, and it’s full of groove. It’s a track that goes directly to the dancefloor. The name comes after listening to it once it was finished. I was in my chair, with my headphones on and the eyes closed. During these minutes, the music evoked me the image of a shiny man running.
“KC Shuffle” is the mental side of the release. The base is contingent and it also has a nice groove, but the progression is slower. The synth takes his time to arrive, and it grows slowly during the break up until the drop comes. The name of the track refers to the “Kansas City Shuffle”, which is something that only means something to those who ever saw one of my favorite movies: “Lucky Number Slevin”
