Congratulations to the 2024 architecture winner ‘Study Pavilion on the campus of the Technical University of Braunschweig’ in by architects Gustav Düsing () and Max Hacke ()

In words of the jury: “The work is rewarded for its ability to challenge the constraints and imagery of sustainability, creating a welcoming and playful environment for study, collaboration and community gathering through an uncompromising and carefully detailed structure. | ‘Inspired in Barcelona: Terra Rossa’ a grand collective installation where tradition met transformation to celebrate Catalan savoir-faire at Milan Design Week 2024, organized by Barcelona Centre de Disseny (.barcelona).

Inspired by soil as the ultimate provider, characterized by surfaces smeared with ochre mud, the vestibule of the exhibition featured a large amphora created by the ceramicist at the service of wine Carles Llarch (). The centerpiece of the installation consisted of a monumental pyramid composed of 80 artistic càntirs made site-specific for the event, representing the creative reinterpretation of 16 different Barcelona-based creative minds.

Congratulations to Júlia Esqué (), Nacho Alegre (), and Omar Sosa (), as well as with their collaborating partners Eloi Bonadona (), Carles Llarch (), Max Milà, and to everyone involved for bringing this project to life.

Re-encounter with the place: JPAM studio transforms the urban landscape of Pallejà

Located in the outskirts of Barcelona, JPAM's strategic reorganization of the Pallejà Sports Complex has redefined its layout, enhancing interaction between courts and their contact spaces.

Due to detailed material selection, the canopy exhibits a unique duality: abstract and hermetic from the outside, from the inside it frames the view of the landscape and allows natural light to pass through; becoming an identifying element that redefines the urban landscape.
