Hoy queremos recordar la excelente actuación de la Unió Musical de Lliria el pasado 13 de julio en el Palau de la Música durante el Certamen Internacional de Bandas de Música Ciudad de Valencia. 🏆

☝Today we want to talk to you about LLorenç Mendoza , a conductor, composer, and pedagogue with more than 3⃣0⃣ years of experience.

🎶This Valencian musician, a graduate of the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatory of Music in Valencia, has had a brilliant career leading numerous musical societies and serving as a full professor specializing in orchestral music at the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Regional Government).

👉His work as a trainer and cultural manager is complemented by the educational project Música, Maestro, workshops, and conducting courses that have earned him great acclaim.

🏆His music has received international awards, including two Silver medals at the Global Music Awards in San Diego for TITELLES and EUPHONIKA.

🎼Both works, published by our publishing house, reflect his talent for combining freshness, lyricism, and a deep understanding of writing for band.

🎼He has conducted orchestras such as the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, and the KBS Symphony Orchestra, and has composed works for important institutions and festivals. 📚His music has been performed and recorded on five continents, winning national and international awards.

🎶In our publishing house, his works TRIBAL, DIVAGAMENTO, and OLEIA offer a fusion of contemporary language, rhythmic power, and melodic richness, clearly exemplifying his mastery in combining energy and depth in his writing for band.

👉 A work for timpani that explores new playing techniques, created in 2020 for percussionist Miquel Bernat.

🎶Its aim is to transform the timpani into a versatile instrument full of timbral color.

Inspired by Zygmunt Bauman’s concept of liquidity, the piece reflects the rapid changes of our time, translated into the constantly evolving sound. 👏

👉Obra para timbales que explora nuevas técnicas de ejecución, creada en 2020 para el percusionista Miquel Bernat.
