New design for 2023: MAURIZIO BIANCHI / M.B. - "COMPUTERS S.P.A." LP special print folder. Plus CD "SMECTRUOP OSCAM" with reworking tracks by Pharmakustik. Special mention about collage art design method in collaboration with Maurizio Bianchi, Siegmar Fricke and myself. A combination with traditional tecnique of collage, 'xeroxed copy' scan and digital treatment in 'Off-set' quality print. Taken original ideas from early 80's 'mailing trade' music on cassette format.
About 'music-sounds' on this M.B. release text detail: "...improvisations on the Korg MS synthesizer-20, free of ancestral prejudice and freely inspired by computerized music that in the second half of the 70s was gaining ground in the academic schools of experimentation."

LUMB030 NICK MOTT The Fall of the Human Empire LP/art booklet set. The very latest work from Nick Mott, also known for co-founding Volcano The Bear, and since then often given to exploring those avenues afforded by the kinda electronic composition which assumes shapes at once abstract, darkly psychedelic and downright twisted as it morphs through an inner space wormhole of its own making.
This set is strictly limited to 100 and will be packaged in a sleeve housing both the booklet and LP, alongside an extra print. Following huge delays initially due to both the pandemic and an overload of work at the record pressing plants, this release (originally planned for spring 2021) is now finally almost ready and should be shipping in October 2022. Apologies to all those who sent pre-orders in 2020 but this really has been beyond our control. The LP/art set appears on Lumberton Trading Company. It is only available via direct order and a few select stockists, although it will have to retail for more elsewhere.

“I thought maybe the music would be too light sounding or upbeat and when I heard it, it certainly wasn’t what I was expecting but it was stunningly beautiful but still with some of the sadder, ominous melodies I loved so much. My fears were unfounded. It was a classic. Still one of my favourites to this day. I’m very proud of it. I get a co-production and co-direction credit on the sleeve but in reality all I did was provide the money and arrange for the record to go into production. I had no influence on the music itself or the cover pictures. Maurizio has made so many records that it’s easy to get lost knowing where to start but I think this album is a good entry point and is one of his very best along with “Mörder Unter Uns”, “Regel”, “Menses” or “Symphony for a Genocide”, although you can’t go too far wrong with any of his wonderful music. As I sit here listening to it again it takes me back to 38 years ago when I first heard it and knew that I was going to be lucky enough to release a classic for the ages.” (Gary Mundy, Broken Flag/ Ramleh, August 2021) Available for pre-order MB’s reissue “The Plain Truth”(1983) in VS’ bandcamp site.
