Patagonia follows fair-trade practices and closely monitors its supply chain to make it safe for the environment, workers and consumers. Its goal is to find solutions to environmental issues without causing unnecessary harm to the world. Because the products are so durable, customers are encouraged to recycle old Patagonia gear and purchase items second hand.

How to Avoid and prevent Green washing ?

Identify green initiatives
Start by identifying low-hanging fruit for reducing waste and what would otherwise end up in the landfill. Switch out parts of your product for recyclable content where possible. More sustainable goods and services lower your overhead, reduce risk, drive stakeholder and employee engagement, and open new market opportunities.

🔸Set realistic goals.
Too often, companies rely too heavily on carbon offsets, which can start to feel like a form of greenwashing when used in place of mitigation efforts. Be realistic before making net-zero claims. Set realistic goals and understand your carbon emissions before committing to them.

🔸Commit to transparency
If you're going to claim your product is sustainable or green, back it up with honest evidence. Greenwashing typically uses language, not numbers. Genuinely sustainable companies will have the data and metrics to back up their claims. Your customers will have more confidence in a green product claiming "87.9% powered by renewable energy".

🔸Let visibility help tell your story
Nothing builds stakeholder loyalty better than a company that backs up its environmental claims. If you've done the work to operate more sustainably and you can prove it, make it part of your marketing. Share a peek into your practices and supply chain on your blog social media or share an annual sustainability report.

🔸Add Extra Parameters to Your Search
Google Search can find an exact match for your search terms if you use additional parameters. You can incorporate these parameters by adding a word or phrase inside double quotation marks.

🔸Try Exploring Visual Search Results
Often, visual examples can demonstrate what you're searching for much more easily. You can click on the Images or Videos tab to find visual results for your search query. You can also search using a picture by dragging an image from your desktop into Google Search.

What Is Personal Branding and what are the benefits ?

Well your personal brand is basically how you promote yourself. It is the unique combination of skills, experience, and personality that you want the world to see you. It is the telling of your story, and how it reflects your conduct, behavior, spoken and unspoken words, and attitudes.

Personal branding will benefit you in many ways such as
helping you to stand out from the crowd,
a strong personal brand will also lead to a multitude of opportunities like job interviews, networking, partnership and much more. It builds a relation of trust, as people are much more likely to buy from, and listen to, someone who looks, talks, and acts like them as opposed to a large corporation.

the "Social" word refers to interacting with other people by sharing information with them and receiving information from them.

At a business level, you would need to focus on different actions to really improve your future client's experience.

Listen,
the use of social listening is always a good idea to take the temperature as it allows you to understand what your potential customers are talking about, what they think, how they feel, and what they need from your business.

Creating engagement,
by engaging with them often they can feel heard and valued, you will get to know them better so you can also make your message relevant to them and even learn from your audience !

Be real and authentic,
Open yourself up to conversations that show a bit of the real you. Nothing builds a relationship better than making a genuine connection.
Do not appear as a brand who is a person; show up as a person who has a brand.
