Story Snaps: From Blank Page to Epic tales! ‍🐥✨

Today’s workshop was a blast! We had a crew of tiny storytellers who dove headfirst into the world of creating their own adventures. ️

We warmed up with some brainstorming games that got our creative juices flowing like a fizzy soda fountain!

Then, it was story time! We teamed up and individually crafted epic tales, and illustrations that brought our characters to life. ✍️

It was an explosion of creativity, laughter, and a whole lot of “aha!” moments. Can’t wait to see where these budding authors take their stories next!

As we created our stories, we never believed in superheroes. We believed in humans. Humans who don’t have superpowers yet are so powerful they change the world around them. We believed in those who are not afraid to speak their hearts out, those who are not afraid to care for others, and the ones who are open to understanding the world around them. We believed in the rebel, the sarcastic, the artist, the kind, and the enlightened. So here is to humans, to those who inspire us every day, those who carry a kind heart despite everything they lived. Here is to their resilience and to their faith. Here is to Palestinians. ♥️🕊️

There are not enough words to articulate how we feel. No matter how hard we try to put everything we have experienced in the past two weeks into lines, we fail. Hobos started because the world showed us its kindness as we travelled. The amount of love, empathy, and understanding we experienced throughout our journey made us see for ourselves that humans are mostly kind.

And just like we have seen the world and its kind heart, now, with a heart full of sorrow, we are witnessing the genocide of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. But no matter how helpless we feel, the truth of the Holy Land shall always be remembered as long as we exist and as long as we educate our kids.

The 3rd issue of The Hobos takes place at "Dia de Los Mu***os"/Day of the Dead festival in Mexico, and just like every adventure, The Hobos have a mission to complete! A riddle appears on the puzzle once again, asking them to join the festival's parade and look for a purple flask placed among some sugary snacks. Though The Hobos have successfully completed their mission, they faced a huge challenge to get back to The Wooland!
