Our Story
Cartoon Animation in the Arab world is fairly new, although Egypt has had few experiences since the 1960’s. With the new wave of Arab satellite T.V in the early 90’s, animation and graphics have become an essential component of mainstream Arabic broadcasting. Alsahar Animation, established in 1992, is the first company in Egypt and the Arab world dedicated to Animation Production focusing on children TV programing. Since then, animation in Egypt and hence the Arab World has come a long way. Alsahar was instrumental in promoting and developing the industry. Well more than half of the animators in Egypt have had training and experience at Alsahar. There are now 42 full time artists working at Alsahar. Now, Alsahar with its acquired knowledge and experience is at the forefront in this field. Since 1995, Alsahar has focused on providing complete production solutions to its clientele, from creative storyboards, character design, production design, to the final product .
