Behind-the-scenes of “Gawaza Toxic,” now showing in cinemas! The film follows Farida and Karim — each from a different social background — who meet due to a chance encounter in Dubai, where a misunderstanding sparks a relationship between them, and thus begins their love story. The film follows their comedic journey to marriage as the differences in the backgrounds are brought to light when their families enter the scene.

Ali Ali's Egyptian thriller "SMOKEY EYES" is making its Jordanian debut this summer at the 5th edition of the Amman International Film Festival - Awal Film (AIFF)! After its world premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival, "SMOKEY EYES" continues to captivate audiences with its powerful exploration of post-2011 Egyptian uprising issues like police brutality, religious tensions, and women's restricted freedoms.

Starring Malak Bazid, Marwan Moussa (in his acting debut), Hassan Abouelrouss, Nourine Abouseada, and Mohamed Aboughali. Starting today, July 1, new closing hours for commercial shops will be in effect until September 26. Shops will be open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, with extended hours until 11 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and public holidays.

Shopping malls will operate daily from 10 AM to 12 AM, extending to 1 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, and public holidays. Restaurants, cafes, and bazaars will be open from 6 AM to 12 AM, with 24/7 takeaway and home delivery services, and extended hours until 1 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, and public holidays.

Workshops and craft shops will open daily from 8 AM to 7 PM. Workshops located on roads, fuel stations, and those providing urgent services to citizens are exempt from these hours. Grocery stores, supermarkets, warehouses, and bakeries are also exempt, considering the nighttime activities of certain shops, such as fruit and vegetable stores, poultry shops, wholesale markets, and pharmacies.

Egyptian star Mohamed Saad is preparing to make a cinematic comeback with a new film; 'Dr. Adwa'. Directed by Wael Ihsan, marking his return to the screen after nearly five years. Known for his comedic talent, Saad's last appearance was in 2019's 'Al-Kanz 2' alongside a stellar cast including Mohamed Ramadan, Hend Sabry, and Amina Khalil. He also starred in 'Mohamed Hussei' the same year, directed by Mohamed Ali and featuring Samir Sabry and Mai Selim. Saad is now focusing on 'Dr. Adwa', engaging in intensive pre-production to finalize the film's details and cast.

Ambassador Moshira Khattab, President of the National Council for Human Rights, honored the artist Yosra El Lozy as part the series "Silat Rahim" during the distribution of awards for outstanding drama production in the field of human rights on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

This honor revolves around the importance of drama in shaping public awareness of human rights. The series "Silat Rahim" won this honor among several other works, as it tackles issues related to surrogacy and the legal and ethical consequences of such actions. The Eiffel Tower has been transformed in anticipation of the upcoming Olympics. On Friday, the famous Parisian monument was decorated with the Olympic rings, marking 50 days until the global sports event begins in the French capital.

Each ring, 9 meters (30 feet) in diameter and made from recycled French steel, was placed on the south side of the 135-year-old tower, overlooking the Seine River.

During the opening ceremony on July 26, thousands of athletes will parade through the city on boats along a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) route at sunset. The Eiffel Tower will play a significant role in the Paris Games, hosting events such as men’s and women’s beach volleyball at the temporary Eiffel Tower Stadium on the nearby Champ de Mars.

The Olympic and Paralympic medals will feature pieces from a hexagonal chunk of iron taken from the tower. The rings will be lit up every night with 100,000 LED bulbs through the Paralympics, which begin on August 28, 17 days after the Olympics end. The Paralympics will bring together 4,400 athletes from 180 countries competing in 549 events across 22 sports, with many events taking place near landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, and the Grand Palais.
