CAIRO: Former US President Donald Trump taunted his successor, Joe Biden, following Biden’s gaffe where he mistakenly referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as the president of Mexico.

Biden’s remarks, posted on the White House account on the X platform (formerly Twitter), early Friday morning, included the statement: “Initially, the president of Mexico (sic), Sisi, did not want to open the gate to (allow) humanitarian material to get in.

I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate.”

NEOM: NEOM has revealed its newest venture, Zardun, an eco-luxury resort aimed at elevating the standard of luxury tourism in Saudi Arabia. Nestled along the Gulf of Aqaba, Zardun adds to the array of coastal developments within the NEOM region.

Comprising four ultra-luxurious structures seamlessly integrated with the natural surroundings, Zardun covers an expansive 4 sq km, promising to be a rejuvenated natural haven abundant with indigenous flora and fauna, spanning from mountains to seashores. Noteworthy among its attractions is the cutting-edge experience center, featuring a 360-degree observation deck that provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Zardun will be home to three unique boutique hotels, offering a total of 100 rooms and suites. Emphasizing sustainability, these accommodations blend seamlessly with the ecosystem, each presenting a distinct theme for guests to enjoy varied experiences, ranging from valley to ocean views.

UPDATE: According to ’s fan page “the concert is still happening”. Here’s a screenshot of their tweet that revoking the license doesn’t mean that the concert will be cancelled. Revoking the license is only effective on local artists who got their permit from the Egyptian Music Syndicate.

The 2022 WoB annual report, includes 236 EGX-listed companies, 34 banks, and 676 non-banking financial sector companies. In addition to 82 public sector enterprise companies (holding and affiliate companies). It tracked the representation of women on boards and in senior leadership positions of nearly 1000 companies and banks. The 30% women on boards goal set by the National Strategy for Empowerment of Egyptian Women will finish in 2023. Maintaining the 3% yearly rise pattern attained over the previous three years.
