@mo4network BREAKING: In an unexpected (that’s a lie, it’s very much expected) turn of events, a pug was found on our @mo4network premises. Our dedicated team is currently engaged in a thorough investigation into the unexpected canine visitor (as our CEO @amymowafi insists we can't adopt him). Simultaneously, we are implementing appropriate measures (water, snackies and belly-rubs) to ensure the pug's well-being as we facilitate a swift reunion with his family.
MO4 Media’s Music Platform @SceneNoise Launches Record Label @nois3records
For over a decade SceneNoise has been the voice of the Middle East’s independent music scene offering unrivaled insight, views, reviews, in-depth documentaries and more covering the latest musical movements shaping contemporary Arab culture.

MO4 Network was commissioned by entertainment powerhouse MDLBEAST to develop Saudi Arabia’s first comprehensive platform for all things Saudi Arabian nightlife - the wheres, whens, whats and hows of every event worth going to.
A young and edgy digital hub related to party culture in a Kingdom going through a very public cultural shift (which we may have a liiiiittle bit of experience in) we’re consulting on strategy (we did after all write the regional playbook for this type of content!), overseeing the platform management and having a little too much fun producing the daily content from memes to party guides to coverage.

Gouna Film Festival Opening
In 2012 we started experimenting with the possibility of producing carefully curated and creatively crafted high quality storytelling in REAL TIME across multiple social media platforms as events unfold.
What started out as an internal challenge to differentiate our digital media coverage turned out to be a globally pioneering way to tell stories on social, setting a benchmark for events and experiences across the region.
Each year we have challenged ourselves to continue innovating, integrating new operational techniques, exciting tech and scouring out new types of talent to ensure that we always have plenty of surprises in stor(ies) for our followers while ensuring that our event-clients own their narratives with exciting content published at eye-watering speeds.
Last year Saudi Arabia got its first taste of #MO4Magic thanks to our work with Noor Riyadh and XP Music Futures by Mdlbeast. But of course our long-standing event-clients always have a special place in our hearts (and on our feeds!) - including the likes of RiseUp Summit, Art D’Egypte, Creative Industry Summit and El Gouna Film Festival (GFF).
Last December we took over GFF’s feeds for the sixth year in a row, strategizing new ways to tell bigger and better stories on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube as well as plenty of snackable content across TikTok and insta-stories. For the first time - alongside the live stream - we also had real time mini-edits of unforgettable opening and closing ceremony stage moments being produced and published within minutes of the action happening live on stage, we produced and edited over a dozen richly crafted reels per day, up to eight filmmaker and celebrity video interview features per day, we had three shows being produced and published daily, meanwhile panel and talk content was packaged in real time multi-media bundles combining speaker quotes, visuals, video snippets and design.
So wherever you were in the world you would feel like you were right in the
MO4 x RED BULL: 10 YEARS & COUNTING OF GIVING EACH OTHER WINGS!
We’ve been working with @redbullegypt for nearly a decade now to help give the nation wings, from conceptualizing their iconic ‘Mazzika Salonat’ series to producing their ‘Jamhoureya’ documentaries (make sure to check them out on our YouTube!). Most recently we’ve delved into their TikTok creating snackable content showcasing their official Red Bull athletes. Here’s one bite-sized snippet featuring basketball pro Nadine Selaawi that got us a social slam dunk with the video garnering over one million views in the first 24 hours. Stay tuned for more!
MO4 NETWORK - THE AGENCY IS NOW IN SAUDI ARABIA We’re thrilled to announce that MO4 Network - The Agency has officially flung open its doors in Saudi Arabia. Our pioneering full service storytelling - including creative strategy, content creation and production, social media management, branding and PR - is now accessible to brands across the Kingdom. 🎥 - Content created by MO4 for @alieia.me as part of our work for the ACL portfolio of F&B brands in Jeddah.
When global luxury haircare and beauty brand Oribe teamed up with famed multidisciplinary artist Louis Barthélemy to create a limited edition ‘Eternal Rituals’ gift set inspired by ancient Egypt, they decided to fly into Cairo from their New York HQ to shoot the campaign.
Originally they were also going to fly in in their own film and creative crew for the multiple copies and short docu-feature they hoped to produce. But as fate would have it we had worked with Louis previously on a big SceneHome story featuring his work with homegrown legacy brand Kahhal Looms. Kahhal co-founder Hend was so generous (thank you Hend!) in her praise for our work that Oribe decided to work directly with us on their mammoth holiday campaign.
And so it was that last March when everyone was still dreaming of summer we starting thinking about Christmas 2023 spending a week running around Cairo with their incredible team to produce their campaign.
The first teaser copy was just published on their pages yesterday and here it is! We can’t wait to share the bigger docu-feature just as soon as its posted!

Another great example of our diversified services and products coming together in the pursuit of fun, engaging, impactful storytelling for our clients!
In the run up to COP27 (during which we were also running all the Ministry of Environment’s socials - but that’s a story for another post) GoodWater, Egypt’s first non-plastic boxed water approached MO4 for social strategy, content production, influencer management and media amplification.
We wanted our campaign to feature a persona who was vocal about climate change yet at the same time was authentic, approachable and inspirational. Omar Samra, a prolific adventurer and climate activist (and the first Egyptian to climb Everest) was our first choice. Once we’d secured him the next challenge was figuring out a way to immediately have the content we created stand out from the tsunami of weighty environmental content that was taking over social feeds in Egypt (let alone globally) as COP approached.
We noticed a few weeks earlier Samra had shared a post of his daughter Teela speaking passionately about the role women play in video games and the reaction had been outstanding with thousands of engagements and the comment section applauding this outspoken young girl. It occurred to us that conversations about protecting our planet for future generations should in fact feature those future generations and not just the suited and booted delegates normally associated with the COP conference. Not to mention the the daddy-daughter connection (especially in the case of Omar and Teela) would be social media gold - a powerful and easy way to encourage people to pay attention to important messaging.
And so the idea for the ‘Teela Show’ was born - a cute snackable piece of content that would deliver key environmental messages. The show was produced by us and distributed on our largest media platform Cairo Scene.
Having a client that understood the importance of stories over selling was of course key to pulling off
Leading Egyptian real estate developer SODIC wanted to move away from traditional marketing communication hammering on payment plans to develop a campaign that highlights their innovation as 25 year old legacy brand now looking towards the future. SODIC created a website where the public could write up their dream future living spaces. The resulting images created by AI would be uploaded for display and sent to the users.
To amplify their SODIC / IMAGINE campaign MO4 PR recruited niche industry personalities in the creative, design and tech industry who don’t traditionally take on work as ‘influencers’ to answer the campaign question ‘how do they imagine living in the future?’ MO4 Agency produced a series of intimate interview segments where they were allowed to dream up their ideal realities before revealing to them their AI generated images in an ‘imaginary home make over’ format, before prompting viewers to create their own visions of the future on SODIC’s website. The resulting content was published on MO4 Media home lifestyle, real estate and architecture platform SceneHome showcasing not just our propensity to produce digitally driven engaging content but amplify it to hundreds of thousands of relevant followers.
Meanwhile MO4 PR recruited several prominent artists working with AI to share their own AI generated visuals of their future living spaces along with the inspiration for their prompts, published on the KOLs platforms as well as editorial driven pieces on SceneHome, further directing followers to use the SODIC/IMAGINE website and share their own generated images.
The brief demanded fresh young faces filmed aesthetically in a location that could pass for any Arab country (so that the content could work regionally). So basically the exact type of content we make everyday before breakfast, which was probably what our long-standing clients Anghami were banking on when they asked us to create this snackable digital copy to promote their rebranding.
At MO4 we may be best known for our spirited and disruptive approach to content and storytelling viewed through the kaleidoscopic lens of 14+ publications with a monthly reach in the hundreds of millions.
Yet behind the scenes, our world-class storytelling and production team is often called upon to lend their experience and expertise to some of the most impactful initiatives and institutions across the region and beyond. Most recently we were commissioned by Egypt’s Ministry of International Cooperation along with the United Nations to create this short docu-feature entitled for ‘The People & the Planet’.
Led by our managing director (and also director / producer) Nariman El Bakry (Munky El Bakry) our team spent two months traversing the length and breadth of the country interviewing the dozens of private and public stakeholders who worked on the projects featured in the video to weave together an emotionally resonant story that premiered at the signing of the 2023-2027 UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework with Egypt.
