Not necessarily operatic voice, but a good experience with musical theater is required.
Experience with jazz music.
Ability to play piano & sing at the same time.

The opera
This fifteen-minute opera is a work in progress with the speaking piano as a central character. Two young people come across a child who has been transformed by a spell into piano so they hunt for some magical objects to free him. The objects are sensor devices that can control musical sounds through movement and color.
