1. Don't be afraid to start using your social networking. Make announcements. Do it regularly.
2. Don't be overmodest. Tell about your teaching methods and experience. Show your strengths.
3. Ask for reviews. Nowadays, word of mouth is powerful advertising.
4. Don't overprice or you'll scare away prospective students. Of course you should be paid for your work but first you need to show that it's worth money you want to get.
5. Be patient. Nothing worthwhile is given fast and easily.
