Today we publish the result of a long investigation into , showing this substance is much more deadly compared to previous knowledge. Number of deaths is still growing year after year in Sweden, despite the country banned asbestos 40 years ago. The reason: asbestos still present in buildings all over and renovation is performed under bad circumstances.
The Swedish development is what all other countries can expect.
Adding to this there is no inventory of where the asbestos is and no real plan to get rid of it – in any of the nine investigated countries in Europe.
