Last Mile Records welcomes Nirmata to the roster! I am very honored to be the one, that the band chose to release their debut album.
You can expect at beautiful mixture of great songwriting, great production, hard rock/soft heavy with a tap of prog, and fans of KATATONIA, VOLA and DIZZY MIZZ LIZZY are certainly in for a treat with this album. These guys are the sweetest, and after a long chat, coffee and sickness earlier this week, we finally signed the deal and I cant wait to get to work on this one. Exiting news!
Today I went to Sydhavnen/Copenhagen to sign a deal with a new artist to the ever growing roster of Last Mile Records.
I’ve been in contact with these guys a couple of months, and today we signed the deal for their upcoming debut album.
To explain the sound and genre of this band, you have to imagine that VOLA, Katatonia and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy had a Ménage à Troi and made a love child. That is what they sound like!

Danske Archon er ude med ny EP i form af "Requiem" - kender man Archon på forhånd, så vil man lægge mærke til at der er sket en lille ændring i deres lyd - det hele er blevet lidt mørkere og dybere - og tungere end før - på den helt fede måde.
Tekstuniverset på Requiem kredse om psykiske lidelser og den konstante kamp, for at kunne leve den bedste version af ens liv - uden at blive fortabt i sindssyge og forsvinde ind i mørket - det hele baseret på personlige oplevelser med angst, depression og endda selvmordstanker.

Det at vi nu kan sidde her med en EP, det giver os jo forhåbninger om at der kunne være et fuldlængde album et sted i en nær fremtid...ja, man har jo lov til at håbe.

Så er du til Deathcore, ja, så er denne EP lige noget for dig - Archon giver os det helt rigtige lydbillede på hvor fedt dansk deathcore kan lyde i 2024 - og at det så er gæster med fra Sansera, Unseen Faith og HateSphere, ja, det gør det ikke mindre spændende.

As 2024 is running low on hours, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and all of you for being a part of our journey this year. 2024 have been a year with lots of challenges that had to be conquered, new paths had to be found and walked and a lot had to be built up from scratch. We started the year with intern @chrispatrick.mktg who chose to part ways during the spring. I would like to thank him for his engagement and drive during his time in the firm. We also started 2024 with exposing the world to the upcoming shoegaze act @wearetaker and layed some bricks for them to walk in their pursuit of glory and fame. I wish them all the best in 2025 and the years to come. 2024 had some remarkable releases and I’d like to point out the EP ‘Requiem’ from @archondk which still growing by the day, worldwide. We have a bunch of releases piled up for you, in the company of @foonmusic @nirmata_dk and @mothem.official and are still on the lookout for new unique promising acts. 2024 was a blast, let’s make 2025 go BOOM!
